All I can comment on is what I have seen up until now. All looks excellent.
Since my mother was taken into care here, her life has taken a turn for the better. The staff have made her feel welcome and have got to know her well. Family have also been made to feel very welcome and the open visitor policy makes it easier to visit Mum.
Staff work hard and take pride in their work and do their best to make the home welcoming and homely. A safe environment, clean and hygienic. There are lots of activities and events for residents to join in with. All staff treat residents with great respect.
The staff were very welcoming and attentive. As a family member, I was told to feel at home as it was my aunt's home. I love seeing the activities offered.

The care my aunt has received from the wonderful staff at Ardnahein has been exemplary. They have looked after her with great kindness and with humour and treated her like a real individual. I have felt confident that my aunt was in very good, safe, and tender hands. Thank you to all the staff.

Home from home. The staff are just lovely with my wife, the setting is very homely and the food is outstanding. There are multiple and varied daily activities that include all the residents. We are very happy with all aspects of the home and care being received. Was invited down for Christmas dinner, which was a nice inclusive touch.
We thank you kindly for your review and are delighted that you find it a home-from-home experience. This is our aim and goal.
The staff at Ardnahein Care are very caring and compassionate, they always make residents and visitors very welcome. The residents have a whole range of activities, so something to suit everyone. The food is extremely good and well presented and there is always something available. I'm so glad my mum ended up here. She felt at home, loved the staff and was very happy. It's a wonderful place.
Thank you for your kind review we truly are humbled and appreciate your feedback.
I live in New Zealand and having seen Mum settled into such a nice place, I can go back to New Zealand and have no more worries about how she is coping.
A great, wee place and I appreciate the staff so much.
Thank you for taking the time to review us. We will continue to ensure it is home from home and look forward to seeing you here again soon.
I cannot recommend or praise Ardnahein highly enough. The physical, emotional and social care provided at Ardnahein is exceptional, with staff consistently meeting the high standards and expectations of management. The physical environment is always improving, and the team take time to ensure residents really do feel at home. There are interesting and exciting activities on a daily basis alongside a range of celebrations each month to recognise important dates/events such as St. Andrew’s Day, Remembrance Day etc, which keeps residents enthusiastic and motivated. My great-aunt is nearly 102 years old, and I am so happy that we found Ardnahein to ensure her last few years are as joyous and adventurous as the rest of her life!
Thank you so much for your amazing review. We are always looking for events and dates that we can celebrate; we do love an excuse for a party. Your great-aunt is very much a big part of the Ardnahein family and is always first to get involved in the activities, no matter what it is!
My mum moved to Ardnahein in Spring 2021 after falling and breaking her hip. Due to Covid, it was very difficult to choose a care home for Mum as everything had to be done by telephone. The manager couldn't have been more helpful and was able to give us full confidence that Mum would be well looked after and cared for. This has been the case since day one, and Mum is very much part of the Ardnahein family. I can't thank them enough for all they do.
Many thanks for your kind review. We will continue to provide exceptional service, and your mum and you will always be a big part of the Ardnahein family.
My aunt has been in Ardnahein for almost a year now, and her condition has improved immensely since joining your care home. She remains bright and happy and enjoys the activities the home provides.
Many thanks for your kind review, and we will continue to achieve as many person-centred activities.
My elderly aunt had to go into care when her sister passed away. The care she received at Ardnahein Care, Dunoon, was exceptional. She had a very nice, bright room and was encouraged to personalise it as she liked. The staff took time to get to know her and make sure that she settled in comfortably. Residents had access to lovely, homely lounges with various activities provided from quizzes and games to afternoon tea, movies, outings and exercise. Residents also had outdoor space and gardens where produce was grown to use in the kitchen. A daily menu was on display with a fantastic choice of meals and puddings - food was cooked on the premises and was beautifully presented. Friends and relatives are made more than welcome and are kept up to date with Facebook posts and photographs. I could not recommend this home highly enough and would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone who is considering full-time care.
Many thanks for your kind feedback. It was an absolute pleasure having auntie part of the Ardnahein family.
This care home goes above and beyond. The staff are extremely helpful and the manager always comes out of the office to say hello and give me an update on Mum's condition. The junior staff are always upbeat and very chatty and tell me about what Mum has been doing and the conversations they have with her. Her room is spotless and the food looks amazing with a daily menu published. Lots of entertainment is provided daily.
Thank you for your review. It has always been a pleasure looking after Mum and we can safely say we all looked forward to you and the family visiting us here at Ardnahein.
My mother has received the best of everything since she arrived at Ardnahein Care, staff are so kind and have helped her so much adjusting to her life in care. Can't say a negative thing about the care and help she has been given. Thank you all!
Thank you for your kind feedback, we will continue, strive to make it home from home.
