Thank you very much for taking the time to contact us with your concerns as it allows us to learn from the issue to ensure it is not repeated in the future. I am very sorry that after your long journey we were unable to support you to take your mother out for the day. We appreciate this would have been very difficult and upsetting for you and your family. I would like to reassure you that our staff endeavour to support families with visits from loved ones however, unfortunately, on this occasion we had to follow the guidance from public health due to an outbreak in the home. Please accept our apologies for any upset this has caused you and your family.
Thank you for giving feedback about the home. I would like to reassure you that our staffing levels are carefully decided based on Resident numbers and dependency and there has never been any occasion where one member of staff is on shift, the least we ever have is 4 staff, which is on a night shift. If you would like to speak to the Manager he can arrange for any reimbursement for any missing items.
