What a fantastic place this is. Everything about the Kintyre Care Centre is five star. Each and every member of staff are a credit to the care centre, for their kindness shown not only to the residents, but also the families. KCC saved the day, not only for our dad, but for us as a family. They gave our dad his dignity back and the unreserved care and compassion shown to him was overwhelming. From the moment our dad crossed the KCC door it was like a huge weight had been lifted from us, even when we would say how nice the staff were in the care centre, he would correct us and say they were very nice. We, as a family, can never repay the kindness, care and compassion shown to both our dad and us as a family by the KCC and for that we are sincerely grateful. Campbeltown is an extremely lucky town having the KCC in it.
Totally blown away by this home! Staff are so friendly and helpful, so clean and bright with plants and even a beautiful wee dog and cat. Food I'm told is excellent, comfortable bedrooms and lounge. Can't praise it highly enough - it's like a 5-star hotel!
Kudos to you all!
Nothing is ever any bother.
Absolute disgrace of a company. Do not put your loved ones in this home if you wish to still see them as we have traveled 300 miles to see her with her grandkids, to be told yesterday we could take her out to come today to pick her up. She had been sitting waiting all morning for us to come to get her to get to the door and be told we can't take her out. Why tell us we can take her, give us a covid test to do when we picked her up then come to get her and now we can't.
Thank you very much for taking the time to contact us with your concerns as it allows us to learn from the issue to ensure it is not repeated in the future. I am very sorry that after your long journey we were unable to support you to take your mother out for the day. We appreciate this would have...
All the staff had a wonderful response to the COVID19 outbreak. They have kept all the residents safe. Well done to them.
Since coming into care our mother has been well looked after and has been treated with respect by all staff. She has put on weight which was a worry to us while she was at home. As a family, we are more than happy to recommend Kintyre Care Home and all its staff.
As I live in England and always come up to visit my mum the staff are always helpful, friendly, and very sweet and kind to myself and my mum. I am always allowed extra time with her as I live so far away and before COVID they were always offering me drinks and something to eat. Mum's room looks so much better since my last visit in September 2020.
I would just like, to take this opportunity, to thank all the staff, at the Kintyre Care Home for their kindness and care of my mother who has been a resident for about 18-months. We do not live locally, so it is lovely for my brother and me to have trust in the nurses and carers, they keep us informed of mums progress and well being. As covid is here, we have not been able to get up to see her, and the manager kindly sent me a photo of Mum, it was such a joy to see that my mum was looking well and happy. Also mention to her carer who always has time to talk to me if I have any concerns about Mum, a big thank you to all of you.
In these difficult times, the home has done a very good job protecting residents from the virus. It has done its best to make visiting possible within the rules, and all staff I have dealt with show genuine kindness towards their residents.
We cannot thank ALL the carers and staff enough for their kindness and support. The care home is the BEST of several we've visited. At no time have we left thinking anything but gratitude and a sense that CARE is exactly what the residents have in abundance.
My cousin is very settled in the care home.
My husband has been in this care home for over three years and I have nothing but praise for the carers and staff for their kindness and understanding in looking after him.
Some of the staff are very good and interact with residents very well, other staff very lethargic. Patients property goes missing from rooms' ? the cause!
Thank you for giving feedback about the home. I would like to reassure you that our staffing levels are carefully decided based on Resident numbers and dependency and there has never been any occasion where one member of staff is on shift, the least we ever have is 4 staff, which is on a night...
The care our relative needs is second to none. Our father is treated with amazing care and respect by all staff.
During my weekly visits to see a good friend who is a resident and chat also with many other residents, I have found the atmosphere to be friendly and relaxed. The staff here also become friends, and I can see how well they look after the residents and make great efforts to make life as enjoyable as possible.
Home recently refurbished. Bedroom comfortable, lovely view.
I would recommend it as I like it here.
My husband has settled into the home and I am very pleased with his care. He is always clean and tidy and appears quite happy. The staff are very good to him and keep him quite settled.
My mum is very happy and feels secure knowing that someone is always there to help her.
