My mother was a resident at North Inch Care Home for 2 years before she passed. During this time I always found the staff to be warm and caring. Holly, the manager, was efficient and effective in dealing with any queries I had.
Towards the end of my mum's life the staff were very caring and supportive to not only my mother but also to me. I felt part of a caring community which was very reassuring and comforting during my mother's time at North Inch Care Home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for your mother's home. We're so pleased to hear your mother's years there were filled with care, warmth and the support you needed. It's also important to know that you also felt part of that caring community, as you should. We'll be sure to pass on your kind words to the North Inch team. And thank you once again.
The care at the home was amazing. The staff were brilliant, always very caring. My husband lived there for 4 years and despite declining health they cared for him extremely well in difficult circumstances. In his final few days they were just brilliant and I cannot thank them enough.
Thank you for taking the time to send in this encouraging feedback. We're so pleased to hear that you saw the exemplary care given to your husband throughout his time at the home. The team will be heartened to read your comments. Thanks again.
My mother is a resident in NI House I have seen quite a few changes especially with care and support mainly staff levels think improvement is needed in this area. Staff are amazing but not enough of them. As you see in my choice of option for food I have rated this poor I think food could be improved with simpler choices for elderly people, realise there is a budget but they are paying fees which are fairly expensive surely more appetising dishes would be an improvement. Activities are welcomed and well organised with a few changes I would be grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to review our North Inch Care home. Relatives' feedback is incredibly important to us, as it helps inform our programme of continuous improvement, going forwards. We're pleased to hear your kind words about the activities in the home, and about your mother's team. They...
the consistent and very professional care they have given her in sometimes challenging conditions. They
are always respectful, caring and very pleasant. The staff keep me informed of all incidents and are always
friendly and helpful. I don't believe I could have found better care for my Mum. We are so grateful to you
all for your hard work and dedication.
Thank you for taking the time to send in this wonderful review of North Grove. It's heartening to know that you've seen the consistency, professionalism and overall care that the team put into the running of the home. They'll be delighted to read this.
Mum had been difficult to look after, refusing all offers of help until matters were taken out of her own hand. The staff at North Inch are so very good with her, it is difficult to imagine better care. Nothing is too much trouble, everything she says is listened to and if appropriate, acted on. If not possible, it is patiently explained why that can't be done today. I have the utmost confidence in the team. Thank you!
Thanks for taking the time to write this excellent appraisal. It means a great deal to know that you've seen up close the wraparound care the team provides and that you feel your mum is in the safest of hands. They'll be really pleased to hear this. Thanks again.
My wife was taken into care on 11/12/2020 to North Inch House and I could not have asked for a better place for her. The level of care was outstanding, she was treated with respect and dignity throughout her time spent in the care of North Inch up until her passing. The management and staff are a credit to the care of all residents. Thank you from me and my family.
Thank you for taking the time to review North Inch. It's heartening to hear how much you value the care your wife was given during her stay at the home. The team will be so pleased to read your remarks.
From the point of application, it has been a joy to work with the home. Everything was done professionally with attention to detail. My mom was welcomed by all the staff, and it did not take her long to settle into her new home. Well done to everyone. Keep on doing the good work in caring for the aged.
Thank you for taking the time to send in this excellent review. It's great to hear that you've seen the professionalism of the team up close and that your mum got settled in so quickly. The whole team will be delighted to read this.

Mum settled in well, all staff are excellent with her. The interaction between the staff to my mum is really good. There are always lots of residents about so she's never lonely. The menu has a good variety and carers prompt her when needed. Menu and activities are on a notice board so I can see them well in advance. The activities are brilliant. I have been with Mum taking part and she really enjoys them. Her bedroom is a good size and lovely and clean. There is a window she loves looking out. I'm glad I got a place here for her.

I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I am always kept informed of the care given to my partner. I have seen how kind they are when he has a fall or is upset about something. I have no worries about leaving him in this home.

My mother has only been in for a few weeks but has settled well. The staff have been very good with her and supportive of us as a family.

My mother moved into North Inch House approximately six weeks ago and has settled in well. She is enjoying the company of the other residents, is eating well and putting on weight. The staff at North Inch are always friendly and helpful and deal with any issues promptly. Plenty of activities every day which my mother is encouraged to join in. Because of the layout of the home, she can move around on her own and I know that she is safe at all times.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so glad your mum has settled in at Balhousie North Inch. We will pass on your kind words to the hard-working team, who will be so glad to read them. Thanks again!
I cannot praise everyone enough. Their care and attention to my mum have far surpassed what I would have been able to do for her myself. I have cared for my mum for many years now and it was hard to let go but seeing the devotion and dedication of all the staff here has made the transition so much easier for mum, myself and all my family. My mum has a lovely room, with space for her own bits of furniture and lots of home comforts. She was meant to return home once a care package was available but sadly this is unlikely to happen so I'm very happy we initially chose Balhousie North Inch to look after her. Thank you so much, everyone!
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We know it can be hard when a loved one moves into a care home, but we are so glad you are happy with the care your mum has received from the team at Balhousie North Inch. We will pass on your kind words to our hard-working staff. They will be so pleased to read them. Thanks again!
Serious concerns about ways things were dealt with and poor communication. The main concerns were management related and safeguarding. Some staff were so committed and caring, but they carried the rest. Concerns I raised were either ignored or brushed under the carpet. I am still waiting for management to contact me and tell me the outcome of a serious issue that happened the day before my Mother left and I was never officially notified about.
Thank you for your review - we always appreciate genuine feedback from our residents and their families. We're so sorry you have had this experience, but please be assured your comments have been passed on to our senior management team and will be looked into swiftly. Thank you once again.
Mum has been and continues to be so lovingly and professionally cared for at Balhousie North Inch House while she awaits a suitable package to allow her home. December is always a difficult month for the family as it was this time 13 years ago we lost Dad. This year has been so therapeutic for us all seeing Mum participating in activities and events in Balhousie North Inch. Thanks to every member of staff who has touched her life (and mine) this year - thank you all - God bless.
Thank you so much for your review. It is wonderful for our hardworking staff to hear they have had such a positive effect on your mum and her family. It is certainly our privilege to give care that makes the difference. We will be sure to pass your words on. Thank you once again.
Staff are kind, and the care is excellent. My brother can be difficult, but the staff are tolerant without complaint.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. To hear you feel your brother's care is excellent is all we could wish for. We'll be sure to pass your words on to the staff at Balhousie North Inch. Thank you once again, and we wish you a very happy Christmas.
My husband can often be unresponsive, so I was delighted to see him on Facebook enjoying himself with the activities coordinator. He was throwing a ball and returning a ping pong ball with a really happy smile or a look of deep concentration. It was great to see him so involved. The staff are all so patient and caring.
What a lovely review - thank you. It's very special for us and our hardworking staff to hear of the difference they make to their residents. We'll be sure to pass on your words to our team at North Grove. Thank you for taking the time to write to us.
