My husband & I intended to have a pleasant visit with my sister-in-law who is a resident. Immediately we were warmly greeted and asked if we were there to visit and join in the Summer BBQ. This occasion was so well organised even hats distributed for those who wanted to come and gather outside in the garden. The chef cooked and supervised the BBQ and staff and friends helped to serve all! Then the guest singer soon had us all tapping our feet or doing a hand-jive, and as all residents were enjoying the familiar songs even some of the carers were able to show off their dancing moves with friends & family! Even the weather stayed fine for all to relax! A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon together. Well done to the events & activities team with the hands on help of all the staff, family & friends. A class atmosphere!

From when you arrive, you are made welcome by Tracy and Tanya. The management and care staff are very good too. Always pleasant to talk too. It seems a good choice for the welfare of the residents, I would recommend Brook House to anyone needing professional help.

The rooms are clean and bright. The permanent staff are friendly and helpful. Contract staff are used to cover over night and they change from week to week. Staff work hard to provide a wide range of entertainment.

The environment is friendly and professional

My Mum is located on Victoria suite and the care given to my mum is outstanding, My mum is so happy there and she knows the staff and the staff knows my mum, if my Mum is not in a good mood or get aggressive, the staff will leave her alone to calm down and then will go back to her after 10mins, the only concern is no communication from the staff if mum has run out of toiletries but other than this everything else is fine.

I wish to thank everyone at the home, from cleaning staff, admin, receptionist etc, to all the nursing staff and outside helpers. Mother, although we all knew it wouldn't be long, really enjoyed the company and friendship she enjoyed with people. I know everyone enjoyed having her around. And when the time cam everything was done swiftly and as dignified as it could be.

On entering receptionist, very friendly all the staff, very good, and easy to, talk too, management also, very good, and pleasant, food, alround good rooms, very clean, and tidy, visiting times, not, restricted, which is, good, not havent to, rush to get there, all, in all, highly recomended

I am truly grateful to the manager and staff of this amazing nursing home in their care of my Mum. They go above and beyond their commitment in caring for the residents. They are a blessing and live their vocation with empathy and kindness. Thank you for making life easier for people like myself. I appreciate the cordial and warm conversations over the phone. My dad was given a place at Brook House and I went in to see him the next day. He looked terrible! Filthy clothes on, all stained. He was unshaven and un showered and was obviously confused but the staff were good with him. Just a little more time could have been spent on him on his first day. I hope everything improves as he doesn't have a long time left.

Mum came to Brook House Care Centre in February 2024 and has received the best care possible. All the staff are absolutely brilliant and take great care of my mum. Every single member of staff takes time to talk to her as they pass by. The entertainment is amazing and Mum joins in most activities. She has settled in very well and is very happy at Brook House. As a family, we thank everyone at the care home for all that they do.

I can say without any doubt whatsoever that every member of the Brook House staff that I have met, the receptionist, the office staff, the maintenance men, the cooks, the nurses, the carers, the activities staff and the cleaners and of course the managers have always been friendly, caring, happy, helpful, obliging and very professional.

Since my beautiful husband arrived at Brook House 3 years ago, every one of - staff have been fantastic, caring, supportive, friendly and helpful. They're a family everyone could wish for. Thank you all for your wonderful love, kindness and support to residents and families. God bless you all.

My mum went into hospital expecting to die. The manager and deputy manager visited my mum in hospital. Mum was eventually discharged with a place, plan and the home almost threw a party to have her back. My mum is still going and is lovingly cared for every day including being fed and changed. She has been at Brook House since August 2019 and is visited by all the staff who she calls all by the same name. All the staff love the residents and ensure that families are kept informed and are made a part of the Brook House family. Wonderful team, wonderful care, wonderful experience.

My father has been at Brook House for a couple of weeks. Family are regular visitors and we have found it nice and cosy. Staff are polite, management are always on hand. Safety and security are very good. My father is always clean and changed all the time. so a big thanks.

From the first point of contact on looking around on day one, we cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at Brook House. We were hesitant of moving our mum from home into a care home but our concerns were unfounded. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, visits were made easy. They showed our mum dignity and respect and she was always safe and clean. They really cared when she passed away, they were dignified and respectful. Thank you.

I am very happy with excellent people. Always support with anything. My mum is not hard to work with but they are brilliant.

The overall care home is a pleasant place to visit. It could do with brightening up in some places. It is very warm in the rooms and the management team and admin staff are excellent, very helpful and polite.

I am very happy with the care my daughter receives. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff, especially office staff who are always there if I have any issues. Nursing staff also very helpful.
