Brook House Care Centre is situated in the Borough of Greenwich and is a modern. three-storey home specialising in nursing and dementia care for up to 50 older people, as well as to 24 young residents living with a physically disability.

The home strives to lead the way in raising standards and provisions, and was awarded the first Centre of Culinary Excellence.

All rooms are en-suite, with modern décor, facilities and amenities throughout.

There is an experienced and multicultural care team at the home, who adapt to the varying needs of the residents. Individual interests and hobbies are supported and the animals are particularly popular within the home, with a hamster, guinea pigs and rabbits.

My dad was given a place at Brook House and I went in to see him the next day. He looked terrible! Filthy clothes on, all stained. He was unshaven and un showered and was obviously confused but the staff were good with him. Just a little more time could have been spent on him on his first day. I hope
everything improves as he doesn't have a long time left.

Mum came to Brook House Care Centre in February 2024 and has received the best care possible. All the staff are absolutely brilliant and take great care of my mum. Every single member of staff takes time to talk to her as they pass by. The entertainment is amazing and Mum joins in most activities. She
has settled in very well and is very happy at Brook House. As a family, we thank everyone at the care home for all that they do.

On my first visit to Brook House, before my wife was admitted, I was given a tour of all of the facilities and met some of the staff. Everywhere was clean and tidy, especially the kitchen.
The thing I noticed most was the friendliness of every single member of staff.
Already, I felt comfortable,
and after talking to the nursing staff and the manager, I was confident that this was the right place for my wife.
She moved into Brook House on 6th April 2023. I was surprised at how quickly and easily she settled in.
I always get a warm welcome from the staff, and they always give me an update on her behaviour and activities.
I can say without any doubt whatsoever that every member of the Brook House staff that I have met, the receptionist, the office staff, the maintenance men, the cooks, the nurses, the carers, the activities staff and the cleaners and of course the managers have always been friendly, caring, happy, helpful, obliging and very professional.

My mum went into hospital expecting to die. The manager and deputy manager visited my mum in hospital. Mum was eventually discharged with a place, plan and the home almost threw a party to have her back. My mum is still going and is lovingly cared for every day including being fed and changed. She has
been at Brook House since August 2019 and is visited by all the staff who she calls all by the same name. All the staff love the residents and ensure that families are kept informed and are made a part of the Brook House family. Wonderful team, wonderful care, wonderful experience.

My father has been at Brook House for a couple of weeks. Family are regular visitors and we have found it nice and cosy. Staff are polite, management are always on hand. Safety and security are very good. My father is always clean and changed all the time. so a big thanks.

From the first point of contact on looking around on day one, we cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at Brook House. We were hesitant of moving our mum from home into a care home but our concerns were unfounded. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, visits were made easy. They showed our
mum dignity and respect and she was always safe and clean. They really cared when she passed away, they were dignified and respectful. Thank you.

On visiting my grandad was met by a lovely administrator. Very warm and welcoming.
The staff are very chatty and very welcoming.
The home itself is clean, but very hot! The manager us very lovely, welcoming and really informative. Basic accommodation, but Grandad is ok.

Staff are lovely. Dad has a very close relationship with his 1-2-1 carers. All staff are friendly and helpful, and they try their best to answer any questions they have.

The activities staff here are exemplary. They radiate happiness and humour. They have a genuine concern for the spiritual welfare of the residents. They also genuinely enjoy each other's company and create an atmosphere of family and belonging. These are wonderful are rare qualities!

My mother has received wonderful care from the staff. When Mother entered the home she was not eating or drinking and was losing weight. Since then Mum has been eating well and drinking normally. The staff take time to speak to Mum, are always gentle with her. They always keep me informed of any changes
that will affect my mother. I could not have asked for a better home.
