My mum has been a resident for six months. I can't thank everyone at Charlton Park Care Home for making this journey bearable. The staff look after my mum with care and dignity and also love. I could not ask for anymore. Because my mum is unable to leave her room the staff allow me to be with her for
as long as I need.

My father was at Charlton Park Care Home for just over a week in April. He went there from hospital and was receiving palliative care at the home. My siblings and I found the staff to be extremely efficient and professional but also caring and compassionate to my father and to all of us. We believe
he received the best care and was treated with dignity and respect and love, right up to his death. We were extremely grateful for it all.

My mother has been a resident at Charlton Park since October 2019 after suffering several strokes and seizures when she was at home. The care that my mother gets from the manager and her team is exemplary. Her dementia has increased but thanks to the team at Charlton Park I am still able to see my mum
inside. Unfortunately, due to both the pandemic and my own ill health, I haven’t been able to see my mum much this year but thanks to the staff, I get to speak to mum over the phone. I have no fears or concerns about my mum's health or safety as the manager and her team do a brilliant and wonderful job looking after my mum and all the other residents there. Well done and thank you.

My father went into the Charlton Park Care Home in June, and we have not been able to visit inside because of the pandemic. We are a very close family and were so sad not to see dad. But the staff have been amazing we had two garden visits and met many of the staff. The manager has listened to me crying
and reassured me. One staff member, in particular, has been fantastic telling us all about dad. The manager is so kind and so is this particular staff member. Then there are many others. When you have a great manager then there is a great team. We can’t wait to see dad inside and are counting the days. But I cannot recommend the staff enough. We feel that dad is with a team that really care, and look after him like he is part of their family. We have Skype called and phoned. So a huge thank you for looking after our precious dad who we love, you have been fantastic. Thank you.

My father spent his last month and a half here before passing away and I cannot thank the team enough for the care that they showed him. He was treated in a kind and gentle manner with respect and dignity and my mother and I were made to feel very welcome. We were always asked if we needed anything
and Dad’s comfort was always their primary concern. Dad had a peaceful passing with mum and I present thanks to the care and expertise demonstrated by all staff, who were unobtrusive but readily available. Finally, a special ‘thank you’ to the manager and her staff who were present, available and caring throughout.

The residents in this home are treated with care, kindness and courtesy. Not only are the residents treated thus but the relatives and friends receive help and kindness too. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone. It is a little bit shabby around the edges but this is more than compensated
for by the special care.

I was concerned about my mother going into a care home but I needn't have worried. Charlton Park Care Home is the best. They provide the most superb care and look after my mum the way I would wish. I am very happy to see my mother looked after so well.

Myself and mother couldn't have wished for better staff to look after my late father and us. We are so grateful for the care and attention given to him in the six weeks he was a resident. The care this home has provided for my mother who is now 100 yrs old and at end of life has been amazing. The whole team are exceptional and I'd recommend this care home at any time for the quality of care and brilliant staff. This is from management to admin and all nursing and auxiliary staff employed

I have nothing but praise for the level of care given to my sister. All of the care staff here are very hard working, caring, respectful people. My sister eats very good food and gets regular checks to see if she is comfortable and clean. Her room is kept clean and her needs are catered for, also the
room is kept clean and her needs are very good temperature, neither too hot or cold. I am treated with respect as well and this is important as I visit my sister 3-4 times a week. I can honestly say I would not want my sister to be anywhere else. She is still in Charlton which is where she has lived for many years.
