Myself and mother couldn't have wished for better staff to look after my late father and us. We are so grateful for the care and attention given to him in the six weeks he was a resident. He couldn't have been in a better place. We only knew the staff for a short time but we will always remember everyone at Charlton Park Care Home.

The care this home has provided for my mother who is now 100 yrs old and at end of life has been amazing. The whole team are exceptional and I'd recommend this care home at any time for the quality of care and brilliant staff. This is from management to admin and all nursing and auxiliary staff employed here at Charlton Park. Thank you all for being there for my mum.

I have nothing but praise for the level of care given to my sister. All of the care staff here are very hard working, caring, respectful people. My sister eats very good food and gets regular checks to see if she is comfortable and clean. Her room is kept clean and her needs are catered for, also the room is kept clean and her needs are very good temperature, neither too hot or cold. I am treated with respect as well and this is important as I visit my sister 3-4 times a week. I can honestly say I would not want my sister to be anywhere else. She is still in Charlton which is where she has lived for many years.

I would like to thank the nurses and carers at Charlton Park Care Home for the kind and considerate care that they provided for my husband during the last weeks of his life. I was more than satisfied with the level of care that he received at the home. All his needs - nursing, meals and general comfort, were fully met.

If I wasn't happy I wouldn't be here. Staff are nice and polite. No complaints. I've been treated properly both ways as a person and a client. I enjoy the meals, enough choices. I regard this as my home.

This home is very good, they look after my wife. All is very nice and a good place to visit. Staff are very efficient and helpful, happy environment, welcoming. I am very happy with the food, a lot of variety and I also eat here. I always see the girls with the hoover and the big machine that cleans the carpets, place is kept tidy and you don't see bits laying around. The dining hall and the lounge seems to be ideal for the residents.

Overall Experience

Since my relative been at Charlton she is very happy, settled well. Whenever I visit it is a very welcoming atmosphere and staff are very friendly and they keep me informed of any concerns they may have, however small. My relative is unable to communicate her needs but I know that she is well looked after even though she has very high nursing needs. The food is all home cooked and looks very appetising and is of a high nutritional standard. I also had very good feedback from many friends who have visited who say how friendly and welcoming the staff are and they are pleased to seeing her so well cared for and content.
