Thank you sir for your positive feedback. We do understand how difficult it is when you have someone you love receiving care, which makes your comments all the more special and appreciated, we are pleased that you feel your wife is being appropriately cared for. At Nellsar we are very very proud of how our loyal and caring staff have rallied through the most challenging of times, often making personal sacrifices and taking huge risks to their own health and well-being. But our families have been amazing too, understanding and supportive with the stringent measures we have had to take to keep all safe. Thank you.

Donna joined the Bromley Park Care Home team in 2013 as a part-time Administrator and over the years she has progressed to Services Manager, then to Facilities Manager, and now works as the Non-Clinical Deputy Manager.
Donna loves working closely with the residents and takes great joy from seeing her colleagues promoted to the next level, while being a part of the positive changes they bring. As a Deputy Manager, Donna is inspired by the unique people she works with and loves working towards one common goal – providing the best possible care and home environment for their residents.
Throughout her time at Bromley Park, Donna has witnessed ongoing support from the Home’s Managers and the Nellsar Operations Team, who have an extremely rich bank of experience and knowledge. Now with the Nellsar Training Academy, and all-round improvements to staff training, Donna is looking forward to seeing the Home’s staff develop into their roles and careers even more in the future.
Citing her greatest achievements as working in a role that she loves and using the experience she has gained in all her different roles, Donna most looks forward to implementing a ‘Wish List’ scheme; Finding more ways to transform the Home and consistently develop the services and home environment for Bromley Park’s residents. Donna would also love to see a ‘Memory Lane’ high street and ‘Mini Village’ in the garden – something that would particularly benefit their residents with Dementia.
"I have worked a wonderful diverse range of roles throughout my time here. Since joining the Home in September 2019, I have worked as a Carer, a Chef and now I'm the Recreation & Well-Being Coordinator.
My team and Manager are fantastic! Working as part of a Care Home team is a very rewarding experience and has given me a new life perspective. I see the bigger picture of life, and I'm able to give from the heart.
I feel lucky to have received lots of training including End of Life, The Daily Sparkle, St Christopher Namaste, Access to Health & Social Care, Access to Nursing and Human Science. I have more confidence in myself and my role, and I feel supported through the Home.
I am looking forward to completing my Access to Nursing course in 2022, then I plan to progress into Nursing to continue giving the best possible care to our residents."
"Throughout my time here I have completed lots of training; the one that has helped the most with my development is my Health and Social Care Diploma.
I am proud of what I have achieved at Bromley Park; my recent promotion to Senior Care Assistant has enabled me to learn more about our residents' care from a different perspective and support them with medication and care planning.
I have seen a lot of positive changes in the Home, and the Nurses and Carers work really well as a team. The team are supportive of each other and we all work well, in the best way, to care for our residents. The Managers are supportive; it’s always nice to see the Senior Team from Head Office as well – everyone strives for the best care for our residents.
The thing that brings me the most joy about working at Bromley Park is caring for our residents. I really enjoy working with and supporting them when they need us the most. It is a privilege to care for them."
"The best thing about working at Bromley Park is the people; the people we support and the people we work with. What I most enjoy is spending time with the residents, it brings me great joy. I also feel great pride when helping the staff develop, and helping them to support our residents.
Over the years, there have been many positive changes in the Home. Most recently, it's been the training and development that has had the greatest effect for me personally. I have completed lots of training throughout my years at Bromley Park Care Home. My promotion to Training Assessor has enabled me to fully support the care team when completing their care certificate training, and with their moving and positioning skills.
I’m really proud to support our team; I am looking forward to watching them grow and develop even further."
