We are honoured to have cared for your mum during her final days and are pleased that you and your family felt welcomed and supported during this difficult time. Your feedback means so much to our team, and we will be sure to share it with them.
Our sincere condolences and best wishes to your family.
When my mum was accepted at Cambridge Nursing Home for palliative care, my one wish was that her last days could be made comfortable and pain-free. CNH was able to give her exactly this. The staff were all wonderful; compassionate and caring. Not only to my mum, but also to me. They were able to give me a better memory of my mum's last days than I thought would be possible.

The staff organised a lovely coffee morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support for residents and their visitors where everyone felt very welcome. My friend feels well cared for in the home and whenever I visit the staff are very friendly

My brother recently had a very short stay here and the care which he received from every member of staff was unbelievable. The respect, personal care and dignity they gave him is something one doesn't witness or hear of often when describing hospitals or Nursing Homes. I was constantly updated regarding my brother's health and wellbeing and my opinion was valued. The hands on approach from the top management right down through each member of the team is quite evident in the cleanliness, warmth, committed and effortless manner in running this home, not to mention the quality of the food-top class. The description 'family run business' on their website is exactly what it says. I was on my own and they made me one of their family. I will always be grateful to all the staff for making my brother's last days extremely comfortable and peaceful. The calm peaceful tranquility of this home was reflected in the peaceful passing my brother had onto the next world. My sincere thanks to ALL xx

All the staff are very patient with my father and to accommodate him best they can , since his change of eating routine. When ever an issue has happened with my father, the doctor or emergency services have been called promptly and we are also informed straight away.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your fathers care.

I recently was made aware of a situation where by a dementia patient was left in a room with zero stimulation and denied privacy - whilst temporary, it should not have occurred in the first place. Dignity of residents is key. When raised, it was addressed quickly
We fully acknowledge how important meaningful engagement...
My father Michael is currently a resident at Cambridge Nursing Home and the way he has been treated has been an amazing contrast to the home he was in prior to this, in a very positive way. The care has been really focused and the home have addressed the failings of the previous home in a professional manner. I see the carers and nurses tending to my dad and their concerns/care do really seem genuine. But it's more than this, it's also the very caring way that myself and my sister have been treated. We are made to feel very welcome by all the staff and they fill us in with updates and chat to us about dad and his needs. But they also just chat to us in a really nice way, this means so much in what has been a tough time for us as well as dad. He is at end of life at the moment and we are really being looked after. Of special mention is Jurate, she has been amazing and is a credit to the home, who are fortunate to have her working there.

He has been a patient for over a year now.
He is always very well looked after and we are very grateful for this.
The staff are all very caring and patient.
They are very good to us and receive us well.
Thank you and kind regards.
She's cared for she's fed well she even speaks to the staff when she doesn't speak to us as a family.. I would recommend this care home to anyone who's thinking of a care home for their parents or partners or whoever would need care.
Thank you to the staff for caring for my mum and the management team for helping me sort out some issues that we had as a family
Having had a previous dreadful experience of care homes, I can whole-heartedly say Cambridge Nursing Home is a care home that is so caring, professional and a place loved ones can feel safe and so loved. I've been visiting regularly for over 5 years and highly recommend the service. I commend the management and all the care home team. Bravo x
My dad had been in another care home for over a year and we really not happy with how he had been treated there.
Dad is now in Cambridge and the care there is 100% better. The staff actually care and interact with us all the time and actually care
Also, the room was always clean and tidy and appeared fresh and pleasant.
A big thank you to ALL THE TEAM at Cambridge..
I recently visited Cambridge Nursing Home and was genuinely inspired by the manager's hands-on approach to enhancing both resident and staff experiences. I found her personally installing a "Compassion" feedback board in the reception area-a small but powerful gesture that reflects a culture of listening and care.
Walking through the corridors, I was warmly greeted by friendly staff, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and lived-in.
Importantly, the home was clean and free from unpleasant odours - challenging a persistent stereotype many of us in the care sector are working hard to change.
My mother received fantastic care and support whilst staying at Cambridge Nursing Home. The staff were wonderful in their dealings with my mother, I cannot praise them highly enough. I will always be grateful to all the staff for making my mothers last days comfortable and peaceful.
I am pleased to always find my friend happy and comfortable. The staff are always kind and helpful. In the future when available it would be nice for her to have a room with a view and some trees to see. The general care of the home is clean and all the facilities work. Thank you.
Always felt secure in knowing my brother was well looked after and his medical needs were not neglected.
I completely love everything here. The food is exquisite, so enjoyable. The chef makes the food that I want. I also like the staff very much, they are absolutely fantastic; they really provide me with all the help that I need. I enjoy being in my beautiful room while doing any provided activities, like reading and word search.
I enjoy the food so much; it's just lovely. The staff have been excellent and very helpful to me. They are very attentive. I also enjoy the activities, especially doing the yoga classes. I just love the environment and it feels very nice to make new friends every day during the activities.
