One of the best care homes. My husband is treated like a family member. The only drawback I would say is that I wish they were more careful about personal property. Care wise, I'm so happy that I'm at peace now. The previous care home was the worst ever. The staff are extremely helpful and lovely....

Since my mum has been in Cambridge, she has been very happy, and the staff and residents are like one big family, which I think is so important during these difficult times.
During COVID, the home has been very caring, and I’m so happy that she is in an establishment that I trust to care for her every need as we, her family, cannot have physical contact. So important during these times for someone like my mum who loves to have physical contact and misses her family and friends. She always speaks highly of all the staff.

My husband is having end of life care and I have been struck by the care and attention he is receiving! All the staff from the cleaners to the most senior staff are warm and friendly. They show great respect to my husband - also to myself. From the moment he was admitted and I first visited the overall ambience of the home was one of warmth and attention to detail. The home is warm and has a family feel. It is warm and extremely clean- the cleaners are visible and clearly take a pride in their work. This is very difficult for my whole family and the staff always check out how we are. We are allowed to visit - myself, my son and my daughter - we visit one at a time and we receive a COVID test each week. We also have our temperatures taken before each visit.
I feel my husband receives the best care possible at this incredibly difficult time and would highly recommend Cambridge Nursing Home to everyone!

Frances has worked in the care sector for over 17 years, beginning her journey as a full-time volunteer at East Avenue Medical Centre in 2008. She then undertook volunteer nursing roles in breast care and elderly care services, supporting older people, individuals living with dementia, people with disabilities, and those requiring nursing care.
In 2009, Frances volunteered at Hospicio de San Jose, an organisation providing assisted living services for older adults, children with special needs, people with disabilities, and orphans. This experience further strengthened her commitment to compassionate, person-centred care. Frances joined CNH as a Supervised Practice Nurse in 2015, became a Registered Nurse in 2018, and was promoted to Deputy Manager in 2025.
Throughout her career, Frances has developed extensive expertise in nursing care, dementia care, and delivering high-quality, person-centred care within residential and nursing home settings. She is dedicated to ensuring that residents receive safe, dignified, and compassionate support that enhances their quality of life and wellbeing. Frances is passionate about ensuring that older people receive high-quality, compassionate, and person-centred care that enables them to live with dignity, purpose, and respect.
