Resolve problems quickly.
Resident is number 1 priority.
When I do mention anything it is resolved quickly.

Mum's carer has a very good calming effect on her and other residents.
Overall, the staff are friendly and attentive. I would say that care home is in much need of maintenance and repair. They do great parties for families and residents.

My dad started living at Clarendon in February 2022. We had looked at two care homes. The other home wanted to quarantine him in his room for two weeks due to COVID. He would not be able to cope with that. I asked Clarendon what their approach would be and they said they would not lock him in his room
because he wouldn't understand what was happening. It was this caring approach that made us choose Clarendon. Two years on, we are very happy with our choice. All the staff are so caring and are very approachable, treating all the residents with respect and love. I can't praise them enough.

This care home is fantastic. My mum caused a lot of problems but they were very understanding. They never judge her and are very patient. They always have time for her.

As soon as I entered the home I felt a lovely atmosphere in there. All the staff look happy and dedicated in their jobs. I am so pleased my sister was accepted into the home. It is a pleasure to visit her in there.

I find the staff friendly and helpful. Treated with respect and dignity. In general, the home could do with up to date maintenance carried out, as in some areas need re-painting, the front could do with some plants, maybe a small community garden. Also good for the residents.

Almost without exception, I have found the staff to be very caring and professional, although my uncle has delirium and is very anxious and thinks staff are trying to hurt him. I know he is difficult to manage at the moment as he doesn't trust anyone in the home but today (03/05/2022) I was very disappointed
to see his cups very dirty and smelly. I had to ask for clean cups (which were brought) and also to say he needed water nearby as he was very thirsty. Management later called to apologise. One member of staff today was not nice - I didn't get a name.

I was very surprised and extremely impressed with the effort the staff team made for my mum’s birthday two days ago. You guys treated my mum as if she was your mum too and that meant a lot to us. We were so anxious about our precious mother being placed in a nursing home. However, we have been very

My husband was a resident until his death. Have been very impressed with the whole set up of this home, like a mini hospital as I kept telling friends. Staff very kind and caring, even with very difficult residents. This was the 4th care home my husband had been in and definitely the best.

In general, the care home is very good but two issues.
Laundry - Clothes are going missing too and from the laundry room. Mums clothes are clearly marked with a permanent marker with the room number and her initials. Sometimes she has someone else's clothes which to are marked this is carelessness.
Medication; Are we entitled to know when tablets are changed or discontinued a tablet has been changed recently and one stopped.
