My mother was at your home but unfortunately she passed away a few days ago. I am so grateful to all the staff and management that made her life so great, l thank all of you from the bottom of my heart may god bless you all. Once again. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words and appreciation, I was on annual leave and did not see your email till now so please accept our condolences from team Kenwood, and thank you for giving us a chance to be a part of our mother's journey in life.
My sister came to this home one month ago. She is clearly very well cared for given her high dependency. The staff are cheerful and kindly.
Thank you, we appreciate your appreciation and kind words.
I found that the care home was friendly and helpful and my mum seemed very happy. They hold parties in the gardens with plenty of food and sing-a-longs and all the families very much enjoy themselves. The manager is very friendly and takes on any issues you might have. So much that do with everyone.
Thank you so much for your kind compliments, we love it when relatives join us and their loved ones for a party as people we support enjoy spending time with family.
My aunt made many friends with the other patients and staff and was well looked after, any problems were always reported straight to me and investigated.
Thank you so much for your kind message, this is always appreciated.
Kenwood Care Home took wonderful care of my father for the last seven months of his life. The staff are excellent - extremely kind, patient and friendly. They treated my father with care and respect, and many staff members clearly were fond of him and were upset when he passed away. Kenwood staff members also attended my father's funeral. Everyone was always very welcoming to myself and other visitors, and Kenwood also runs nice activities for the residents and their families - such as a summer BBQ. The home manager is superb, and she went out of her way to help us with transitioning my father from living in his own home to moving into Kenwood. I could not recommend Kenwood highly enough, and I will forever be grateful to them for their help and kindness.
The home has a lovely family feel and is always fresh and welcoming. The staff are very caring and responsive to the residents and are dedicated to their well-being I could not have asked for more. They looked after my friend so well and showed kindness throughout. The activities inside and outside were wonderful and contributed to lots of fun for all. The food is very good indeed and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I can see that residents are very happy, relaxed and well taken care of. Outstanding care and thanks to all for everything you did for my friend from the first day she arrived to the day she passed away.
I would recommend Kenwood Care Home in a heartbeat. The staff go above and beyond for their patients and I am so glad that we chose Kenwood for my uncle's care, we could not have received any better anywhere else.
The care, kindness, compassion and love that they have shown my uncle during his stay is beyond what I had expected.
The manager and her team are truly beautiful human beings.
Please do not hesitate to use this care home if your loved one needs care, you will rest easy knowing that they are loved and cared for as if they are at home with family.
I can never express my thanks and gratitude to all of the staff.
Thank you Kenwood Care Home my love and thanks will be with you all forever
Your uncle will be missed by us all in Kenwood.
Kind Regards
My mum was only a resident for a very short time before she passed away but can say hand on heart that the care she received was absolutely fantastic. She was treated with respect, dignity and kindness. It was as if she could have been any one of the staff's own mum. They looked after me too, supplying endless drinks and homemade cakes. I was welcome to visit at any time and could stay for any length of time. Thank you all for the wonderful care you gave to my mum and the respect shown to her and myself when she passed away.
Thank you for your very kind review and please accepy my condolences. I will ensure the team are made aware of your kind words and I am so pleased that we were in some way able to help at a diificult time
Thank you so, so much, Kenwood.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, your mum is dearly missed by all and it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to care for her.
My father passed away on 1st Jan 2021 and just prior to that he was in the care home for about two years.
He was cared for well however when he passed away, I was handed some bin bags with his belongings and was told the manager was on vacation. To this day, the Care Home Manager did not even have the time to call us and give her condolences to the family.
I think as the care home manager that's disgraceful and disrespectful.
I don't have anything else to say.
We are sorry to hear that the family above was disappointed for not receiving a condolence message from the home manager. At the time of their father's passing, the Manager was out of the country on annual leave, the deputy called the family and offered condolences to the family as soon as the...
My husband has been a resident at Kenwood Care Home for over a year. I visit regularly and often telephone to find out how he is doing. I have got to know a number of the staff and find them polite and accommodating. I understand that my husband can be unpredictable sometimes due to dementia, during these times, staff have done their best to make sure he is safe and does not pose a risk to himself or anyone else. During these few months when the home has been shut to visitors due to Covid-19, the home have been very active in keeping me informed over the phone about his care. My family and I have been able to speak to my husband at the doorstep from a distance and in the garden when the weather has been good. I am pleased with the care my husband has been receiving at Kenwood Care Home and would certainly recommend this home to friends and family.
Thank you for your review, it means a lot to the team at Kenwood. I hope you will be able to visit your husband properly soon!
My mum had quite severe dementia and wasn't easy to look after. She received very good care at Kenwood; I was impressed with all the staff I met. They were friendly, warm and made an effort. They genuinely got to know my mum and made her last days as good as they could have been. Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback. My condolences at your sad loss. Your kind words regarding the team will be really welcomed by them all.
My Grandmother has been a resident at Kenwood for over 4 years. I have found that the staff are always attentive and understand my Gran's health and care needs, they are always ready to answer any questions that I have. The environment is very inviting and well maintained. The feel is welcoming and relaxed with staff that know my name, this just shows how much the staff and management care for the residents overall. The team ensure my Gran's routine is kept and when able we enjoy the lovely garden and conservatory. The care home makes visitors feel welcomed and are great at holding events including open days, summer BBQs, Christmas and festive parties with freshly onsite cooked food. My Gran as been a resident for several years and this shows that the care and heath support provided is upheld with working in partnership with the NHS and GP services. The staff are very respectful of my gran's needs and very empathetic of her abilities which is a comfort to the family to know.
My mother has been a resident at Kenwood Care Home for many years and has dementia. She is always clean and has never had a bed sore even though she cannot walk. The staff are kind and caring, always cheery and treat the residents with respect. The home itself is well looked after, clean and does not have that “care home smell” I have encountered in other homes. The Manager is approachable and responsive and the Christmas party is great fun!
Many thanks for your very kind comments, they are very much appreciated.
My friend was a long-term resident at Kenwood Care Home and recently passed away. I would visit as often as possible or telephone to find out how she was keeping I continued to visit after my own mother passed away last summer. They had become friends during my mother's stay of 5 months. I understood that my friend received no visitors and it was good to carry on the visits. The care staff would keep me informed on how she was doing and one of our chats together was via a WhatsApp chat. It was good to catch up with each other and the care staff. The short time my mother was a resident was a positive experience and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the home whose staff would welcome resident visitors. Over time it was such a friendly and relaxing atmosphere being together over a cup of tea.
Many thanks for your kind words and for continuing to visit the home after your own sad loss. I will ensure your words are passed on to all.
My mum is treated with dignity, gentleness and kindness. Her needs are well met and I believe she's very happy. The care home has a lovely outlook from the lounge with a conservatory looking out onto a beautiful well-kept garden which is good for her well-being and mindfulness.
Thank you so much for your positive review. It is always so good when the team's efforts are recognised.
The nursing staff and carers were gentle, kind and caring. They respected and communicated well with the patient and myself (a frequent visitor) and maintained his dignity. Although the patient was extremely ill towards the end of his life he was kept comfortable and this was enhanced by the care and consideration shown by the management to his disabled partner and his distant family.
I am very pleased with the standard of care my brother is receiving at Kenwood from medical staff and carers. He has improved since his arrival and is very happy living there. I am warmly welcomed by the manager and staff at all times and am kept up to date with his general progress. I would recommend Kenwood Care Home for the professional and considerate care it offers to all residents.
Thank you for all the care you gave my mum.
We were always met with a very friendly time by all members of staff.
The care shown to my mother over the period she was there, we cannot fault.
