Knights Court Nursing Home

I am writing this review with the deepest gratitude in my heart for the incredible care home team who looked after my dad for three years, right up until his final breath. My dad was treated with dignity, kindness, patience, and genuine affection. What touched me most was that they didn't simply care for him as a resident - they treated him as family. The nurses were truly exceptional. They were genuinely caring, compassionate, patient, and attentive to Dad's needs. Being so far away was incredibly difficult, but their communication kept me informed about how Dad is by giving regular updates. Lifestyle Team worked so hard to ensure Dad continued to have meaningful activities and opportunities for a good quality of life. Thank you for keeping us connected by facilitating our video calls. Thank you for everything that you do for Dad. I will carry that gratitude in my heart forever.

The staff and management team are really amazing. I really do appreciate all the support that is given to my mother in law, and so grateful to everyone and everything that is being done. This is the best care home ever, I can't recommend it enough. (I can recommend it highly).

Staff and carers are always very polite and attentive. They remember residents family members and also information about each resident and interact with them on a personal level. Food still needs improvement and you can see they are understaffed, however the staff that are there are fantastic. The home is also kept very clean and there are now more activities for residents to enjoy.

The reception and administration staff have been very kind and helpful in all circumstances that I have presented to them. I can completely recommend this nursing Home

My father is very happy in knights court. Staff are very friendly. Cleanliness is spot on. They give professional care. Always welcoming. My fathers health is stable since he moved here. Highly recommended.

Care and nursing staff are good, home is kept clean. Staff are friendly and welcoming. It is disappointing that the large garden is not used well. It is in need of improvement. Maintenance is generally very poor. The ceiling light in my mother's room has needed fixing for over a week. A very stiff tap for even longer. This is unacceptable and not having a working light is dangerous. This is not a complex matter to fix and should have been done the same day.

My mum came into Knights Court mid February straight from hospital. I cannot fault a single thing. The home environment and ALL the staff are warm, loving and professional. All the staff work as a team and cannot do enough for mum. We are so pleased we chose knights court. Thank you Knights Court x

Knights Court Care Home has been a true blessing for my family. The staff are warm, professional and genuinely caring, always going the extra mile to make sure my mum feels comfortable, safe and valued. The home is very clean and welcoming, well-kept and filled with a positive atmosphere. We have peace of mind knowing she is well looked after. I can't recommend Knights Court highly enough. It really is a wonderful place, with wonderful people. The manager is brilliant and really gets involved and knows her residents. A well-managed home and brilliant staff. You should all be proud as this home is outstanding!

I've being coming to Knights Court Nursing Home for over 1 year. Management is great, they deal with issues straight away, the staff upstairs are very good and very helpful. They make sure the resident is dealt with appropriately, food is of good standard, and good portioned sized. It's a very friendly atmosphere and always a welcoming environment to be in.

My husband has been at Knights Court now since 2017, and we are satisfied with the overall care he receives.

It was also great to see the manager, who introduced herself to me & my mum, she seems very lovely, so does everyone that works there.

My father went into Knights Court Care Home for 3 months. It felt like visiting at home as the staff were very warm, friendly, attentive and responsive to all requests - nurses, carers, admin, reception and management. I highly recommend this care home to anyone who wants a personal experience for their loved one and to receive the best care.

What an amazing nursing home, the staff genuinely care for the residents. They put activities on every day and the residents love it. My mother has been so well cared for, her general health has really improved. I would highly recommend this nursing home from the staff in reception through to the domestic staff everyone is extremely professional and caring.

This was my first time coming to this care home to see my aunt and I was amazed at how clean, tidy and friendly the staff and environment was. My aunt seems very happy there and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed, yet very professional. The food looked really nice and smelled nice too. The day I visited, the home manager held a 'thank you' party for all of her staff to appreciate all the hard work they do, it was great to see this. The manager is also very polite, and full of positive energy and you can see that her staff really appreciate her. Overall, it was a very good first impression and I'm happy my aunt is staying there. Well done to the manager for leading a great team.

I managed our family care home with my parents for many years. So I know when care is very good. The home is always perfectly clean and always has a lovely atmosphere.

Since the start of my grandmother's care at Knight Court in October, I have seen that the staff are very welcoming and thoughtful to ensure her care needs are met. They respond to adjustments and feedback, as well as making sure to communicate updates promptly. The living environment is very clean and happy, whenever we visit we can that all the staff are trying their best for everyone. The care home is safe and thankfully close to home. Over time, I have seen that they have provided more support to ensure my grandma is treated well and looked after.

Staff are amazing. A few nurses could engage with residents a little more. The food is vile. Choice is limited if doing spicy give a choice, if doing a beef or chicken curry do a stew same meat different choice. When serving rice or noodles both meals choices should not have them. Food presentation is awful. I try not to be here at meal times it upsets me so much.

Very good home and caring staff and management. They look after my wife very well. They let us take her out for day trips and lunch. Management are really kind to me and my wife, My wife is support all the time.
