My friend lived in Lakeside for three years sadly dying eighteen months ago. She was blind and deaf, but the staff were very kind and caring when attending to her. I've known Lakeside since 1985, when my aunt was a resident and have always been impressed by the friendly and professional atmosphere.
I am now on the residents committee as I want to continue to support them.

As a small, friendly nursing home specializing in dementia care, we focus on creating a true sense of community where residents feel safe, valued, and at home.


I’m Debbie, the manager at Lakeside, and I have been part of the management team for 14 years, with the last 10 years as manager. Over this time, we have built a fantastic dedicated and skilled team, many of whom stay with us long-term, often progressing into nursing careers before returning to Lakeside as qualified nurses.


We believe in an open-door policy for residents, families, and friends, ensuring there is always someone available to listen and support you. From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll experience the warmth and care that makes Lakeside so special.
