Surbiton Care Home is a beautifully restored Victorian House which aims to transform peoples' lives through delivery of high-quality care in a friendly, home-from-home environment. The home is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide residential and dementia care for those who need 24-hour personal care and support, as well as respite and day care to support families and carers.

Surbiton offers comfortable, single rooms, most with full en-suite facilities, and additional communal shower rooms. The bedrooms enjoy glorious views of the garden or a picturesque and friendly neighbourhood, and residents can choose to have personal TVs with Freeview and direct dial telephones in the comfort of their bedroom.

Surbiton offers indoor and outdoor space for private family meals and group activities, as well as a place for residents and their friends and families to relax. The home has several communal areas, including a choice of two attractive lounges where residents can watch TV, entertain guests and partake in activities. A well-maintained, secure garden space provides sufficient seating and shade, shared with its surrounding nature. The extended lawn provides fantastic space for group exercises.

Fresh, homemade meals are offered, with alternative options to suit dietary preferences and needs. A dedicated activities room offers a multi-functional area for recreation, entertainment and reminiscence, and the adjacent kitchen encourages and enhances cooking and baking opportunities.

The home embeds itself within the local community, making the most of opportunities such as monthly visits from a vicar and mobile library, as well as partnerships with schools and sports clubs. Residents are visited bi-weekly by a hairdresser and manicure, podiatry and pedicure treatments are also available.

Since moving into Surbiton Care Home. Mum's life has been transformed in so many ways. The care, devotion and support she receives each and every day is truly exemplary. She is happy and secure in ever way and we as her family couldn't be happier to see her move into such a positive phase of her life.

Since my friend has moved into Surbiton Care Home I am so pleased with the change in her. She is so happy now and being cared for so well. Every time I see her she is all smiles and praising all the staff. I'm so grateful that she has moved into such a lovely place and is so well looked after.

My mother has been at Surbiton Care Home for just under a month and the difference in her is wonderful. She is less anxious, more engaging and very happy. Surbiton Care Home is a small, friendly and homely care home. My mother is treated with kindness and respect. She is happy and content living there. The management and staff listen and do their best to resolve any issues. My mother says the food is delicious and particularly enjoys the homemade cakes.
The room is kept clean and tidy. My mother always looks nicely dressed and presented.

Nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and they had time to chat. I myself have additional needs and the staff acommodated me. Especially the manager, who was very kind and has welcomed me back.

I always visit my aunt at Surbiton Care Home and always receive a lovely welcome for myself and other family members. My aunt is relaxed and; looked after so well; she speaks highly of all the staff members, especially the admin lady; she speaks really highly of her - my aunt adores her and says she
helps everyone - nothing is ever too much trouble for her and I’ve witnessed this myself, she always takes time out to speak to all residents - such a kind heart, happy and chirpy, always smiling and that’s what residential homes should be like - happy staff = happy residents, and that shines through in Surbiton. I couldn’t imagine my aunt anywhere else, she is so content and happy and very well cared for, and that’s all we ever wanted for her. It was hard enough to see her in care, but this is like home-from-home, lovely meals, just so homely. I would like to say on behalf of my family that we appreciate everything you do for our aunt.

My dad sadly had to enter dementia care at the end of March, and I chose Surbiton Care home as it was small scale (only 22 rooms) and homely, and the staff are absolutely lovely. It didn't feel sterile and corporate like other settings. There is a real emphasis on getting residents out of their bedrooms
during the day to get them engaged in activities and social interaction. The manager has been amazing, liaising with me daily during my dad's settling-in period, and there is a Whatsapp group for sharing updates and pictures. The food is also very good, and my mum enjoys eating there when she visits my dad. I don't think going into care is ever a "happy" occasion, but the care home has been so supportive of both my dad and family members, and I am really grateful for them helping us all during this time. The garden also is very nice.

We came to look at the home feeling very sad that my mother needed to go into care. Something I found very hard. We met the manager, and she was/is lovely. Looked around the home, and everything was explained very well. Residents were sat in the garden chatting happily. My mother came and, within 24
hours, wanted to go home, but after a few days said how she felt safe and was enjoying being looked after. After nearly four months, she is so happy there.

I have been at Surbiton Care Home for three weeks and received wonderful care. All the staff are so attentive, patient and friendly. I have enjoyed all my meals, the chef/cook asks us what we would like, and the food is just as good as home, and there is always an alternative. Hopefully, I do not need
respite again but would certainly choose here if it was necessary.
