My mother-in-law has been here since August and since then, we did not have any complaints. The staff are all very nice and helpful. They are looking after my mother-in-law very well, providing her food on time plus giving her baths whenever she wants.
We are very thankful to all the staff for their
hard work and comfort they provide to all the residents here. We are very satisfied with them.

The staff are so welcoming and caring. My mother has received wonderful care in this home. I could not have asked for more.
The nurses and carers are very attentive. They listen and advise. Any concerns were dealt with promptly and efficiently, and with kindness and compassion. I would have no hesitation
in recommending the home to any prospective applicants.

My aunt, who is a service user, is a resident of Barchester Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community. I live overseas and came to visit my aunt who has a terminal condition.
It was heartwarming to see my aunt in Barchester Wimbledon and the care and support she has been receiving in the care home. I feel,
finally, she has real "care". My aunt has no family in London and has been isolated from broader family as she advanced in age - with mobility issues and inability to travel. Barchester Wimbledon staff were observed to be her family. Her well-being has improved tremendously and every person in the home was treated with respect and dignity.

I found this care home excellent for me. I am mobile with a simmer frame and can do much for myself. I take part in activities of my choice. It is friendly here and I know the names of all staff. My relatives and friends visit often. Most important nurses give me my medication accurately and have full
control of them. The building is well-maintained. My days pass quickly and my room is quiet. The call bells are available and close to hand.

We feel very fortunate that my father could be cared for at the Beaumont. It is a happy place, despite the challenges that failing health, memory loss and old age can bring and while it was not his home, my father did feel at home here and the staff went to a lot of trouble for him. The food was a particular
pleasure. The main challenge was sometimes communicating with so many different people at times, but when difficulties arose they were quickly and professionally dealt with. Cleaning rooms thoroughly (emptying drawers etc) may also need more attention. Overall, a big thank you to all here for your kind and competent care.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.922)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.922) out of 10 for Barchester Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 31 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 31 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.922 for Barchester Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community is calculated as follows: ( (333 Excellents x 5) + (24 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 359 Ratings = 4.922
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Barchester Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community is based on 31 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 49 registered maximum number of service users is 9.8, which has been reached with 31 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
