It was heartwarming to see my aunt in Barchester Wimbledon and the care and support she has been receiving in the care home. I feel, finally, she has real "care". My aunt has no family in London and has been isolated from broader family as she advanced in age - with mobility issues and inability to travel. Barchester Wimbledon staff were observed to be her family. Her well-being has improved tremendously and every person in the home was treated with respect and dignity.
Good afternoon, thank you for your heart-warming review. We loved welcoming your aunt to our home.
I cannot thank Barchester Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community enough for the tender care they gave my father. He was treated with such dignity and respect. All of the staff are wonderful. The activities were amazing and my father was very happy there. It is a very special place.
My mum moved here in December 2023. She found the transition from her own home challenging but the staff all made her feel very welcome. Since she has been here, I am happy and confident that her care has been excellent.
Our relative has been a resident at Barchester Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community for almost six years. She is now receiving end-of-life care and all stages of her stay has been treated with respect and dignity. As a family, we have great trust in the care provided by all members of staff. Every member of staff contributes to the standard of care in this home and is valued by us.
My aunt moved into Beaumont having lived independently. It was an enormous upheaval for her, but the team managed it superbly and she is flourishing and happy.
Great, very happy. Perfect company.
I found this care home excellent for me. I am mobile with a simmer frame and can do much for myself. I take part in activities of my choice. It is friendly here and I know the names of all staff. My relatives and friends visit often. Most important nurses give me my medication accurately and have full control of them. The building is well-maintained. My days pass quickly and my room is quiet. The call bells are available and close to hand.
Since arriving at Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community I have experienced a very good atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and efficient and always helpful. I am treated with respect and kindness and nothing is too much. My accommodation is perfect for my respite care. I would certainly recommend this facility.
In June 2021 my mother entered Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community and was deeply unhappy. In the subsequent 18 months, this has been transformed into happiness, peace and acceptance. Thank you, Beaumont.
Dear Barbara, thank you for your review. The whole team at Wimbledon Beaumont works hard to provide a safe, caring and happy environment for all of our residents to enjoy their twilight years.

Meet the Team (13)

My name is Khushkaran. I am the General Manager here at Wimbledon Beaumont. Myself and my team look forward to welcoming you into our home.
I began my nursing journey in India and moved to the UK in 2002. Starting my career as a care assistant, I completed the Overseas Nurse Program, obtained my PIN number, and began practising as a registered nurse.
My passion for elderly care led me to join a nursing home in 2004, where I progressed through various roles, from nurse to senior nurse, then unit manager, clinical lead, deputy manager, care services manager, and eventually General Manager.
I love my job and am deeply committed to both my residents and staff. I firmly believe that happy staff create a positive environment for residents, which is my top priority. Every day is an opportunity for me to learn and improve my leadership skills, helping me provide the best care and support to those in need.

I started my journey as a care assistant and have worked my way up through various roles, enjoying every step along the way. In July 2025, I joined Barchester Healthcare, where I continue to build on my passion for providing excellent care. My favourite part of this job has always been getting to know the residents and hearing their unique stories. Making people feel valued and cared for is truly the most rewarding part of what I do.

I look forward to applying my skills, contributing to the team, and growing both personally and professionally.

I am proud to say I am the Head Chef here at Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community.

My responsibilities are to ensure that the well-being and safety of all residents and staff are paramount, that the requirements are up to date in the home and that the home and the equipment within are well presented and well looked after to a high standard.

My name is Maureen, and I have been at Wimbledon Beaumont since 2016.
Previously, I have worked with children as a childminder for 10 years, so I have always had a care background. We have a great team here, but by far the best part of my job is getting to know all of the amazing residents and hearing their wonderful stories; that's what makes my job so enjoyable!
