My wife has been most carefully nursed and cared for during the last month she has been here, recovering form a broken hip. The staff have been very kind and attentive and treated with respect, someone with poor hearing and memory loss and of considerable age.

This first experience of respite care has been very positive and reassuring for us. Nothing was too much trouble for staff and we were particularly impressed that whoever we spoke to, from the receptionist to the manager, all were fully briefed of his situation. He felt very much seen, heard and cared for and it has given him confidence knowing there are others outside the home and family who can be relied upon should the need arise. Thank you one and all.

My mum has been in this home since June. I viewed plenty before this one. When viewing I just thought this was the one and it felt so friendly and homely. The manager and her staff are very nice and you can phone and talk to any staff any time of the day. Any concerns are dealt with straight away excellent.

Although I have only been here for just over three weeks (respite care) I have enjoyed my stay.

The staff and management have been very friendly and caring and I made friends with a lot of the residents.

Over the last 12 months, things have got better since the change of management. I have been very fortunate in having carers who have understood my special needs. They are sensitive to my feelings about being washed, becoming more disabled being slightly disheartened about my health. After 2 years I now feel Wimbledon Beaumont is my home and the other residents and staff feel like my extended family.

My aunt has been in Wimbledon Beaumont for 4 months now and finds it quite satisfactory. She's just had her 100th birthday there and the home put on a good party. Food/meals there are excellent and she loves the chef! Although she doesn't take part in many of the activities are very good. The management are extremely helpful for all her and my requirements.

My mother lives in one of the independent living flats and feels it's her home. She values the help and attention given by all the staff team. The new manager is excellent and takes interest in all residents. A very welcoming home, standard of services and activities cannot be faulted. Clearly the best home in Wimbledon and so glad it was recommended to me for my mother.

Barchester Wimbledon Beaumont encompasses everything that is important in a care home. The staff have a genuine sense of commitment and compassion. The enthusiasm and family feel comes from the new manager who is professional, personable and successfully motivates staff who in turn work as a team and take pride in all they do.

The home is clean and modern and the catering resembles a five-star establishment. I would thoroughly recommend the Beaumont.

I live in a flat in Beech Court, the independent living block next door to the Beaumont nursing home. I particularly value the independence of living in my own flat while supported by the care facilities and resources of the Beaumont. I have always found the staff and services excellent and I greatly appreciate the personal interest which the Manager takes in the residents. I warmly recommend the Beaumont home and the associated Beech Court flats.

This facility looked after my 98-year-old mother in the last days of her life. The care and concern shown were exemplary, even when family were present, the carers looked in very regularly to check her and to make sure the family was getting everything they needed.

Following a very bad experience at another home, this home clearly showed what excellent care looked like. I have no hesitation recommending Wimbledon Beaumont.

My husband was in respite care for two weeks in Beaumont Care Community.

As the carer of my husband, I visited on a daily basis. He seemed very happy and well looked after. The atmosphere on entering was always welcoming, friendly and warm. All the staff I met at reception, carers, nurses, activities organiser and in the restaurant, also managers were welcoming and knew me and my name and of course my husband; all those factors helped towards a successful respite.

I have been here for 6 months. The care has been excellent as has the food. I feel that at times there needs to be more caring staff as they are trying to get residents up and dressed and more staff are needed so that all residents can be seen quickly.

As a friend of a Wimbledon Beaumont resident, I wanted to say thank you for the excellent care your staff provided recently during a health incident. The senior care assistant was both diligent and sensitive to the resident's anxieties and together with the nursing staff on duty that afternoon, the situation was dealt with in a calm and professional manner. At all times, I was kept informed of the situation and any decisions. I'm very grateful for such professional back up and would very much like to pass on my thanks to all those at Wimbledon Beaumont.
