Very friendly and helpful staff with total commitment in what has been a very difficult year throughout the pandemic and now an excellent manager. The activities team have also done a brilliant job keeping residents occupied every day in what has been hard nor being able to see our loved ones. Now, how happy all family members are in seeing our family and all staff have made us feel very welcoming and excited to once again being able to visits.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere and appearance of the home are attractive. My friend, who is very vulnerable, appears to be very well cared for and is treated with kindness and respect. When I first had contact with Summerdale Court last May, it appeared that the administration was not always well done. However, it appears to me that this has improved significantly in recent months.

My mum has been at Summerdale Court Care Home for six years. The staff are all friendly as are the admin staff. The care she receives is great, and she is well looked after, which is all I can ask for.

I am completely satisfied with the care and support which my mother receives at Summerdale. She has been there for three and a half years now. I must stress that my mum is always kept clean, fed and given drinks as she cannot feed herself. She is always well presented so, therefore, it gives me peace of mind that she is getting cared for, as she so deserves.

Mum was a resident at Summerdale for 4 years. She was loved and cared for by all staff. She was shown love, dignity and as her daughter, I was given lots of support when times were hard. When Mum passed away recently, the staff were amazing, showing professionalism, love and genuine care. I will be forever grateful to all staff.

Visited Aunt on 7th January 2018 and found the cleanliness of my aunt's room very dusty, especially under the bed and behind entrance door to room.

The majority of carers and nurses are very caring, kind and supportive to my mum and our family. Very hardworking and dedicated.
I feel happy my mum is being cared for the majority of the time when I cannot be there and that she is safe.
Washing of clothes is not the best, lighter clothes get miscoloured quickly and ironing does not appear to be done despite several requests.

Food is not always the best, room for improvement.

I have found the home pleasant and welcoming since my aunt's admission. My aunt has a big character and can be quite not so nice at times sadly through dementia but staff and other visitors love her. Staff treat her kindly and have a laugh with her, especially about Tottenham Hotspur. When I'm visiting I get treated well too, I'm happy I chose the right place for her it's been the best thing for my aunt I hope it continues.

I visit my sister, and all the staff at the care home are friendly and helpful. The food seems good and plentiful. There seems to be a slight issue with maintenance, as door locks on bathrooms/toilets are prone to jam or don't work. Overall this is a good home.

Over the years that I have visited my sister I have been pleased with members of staff who, it would appear will go one step further to please at all times. They are always pleasant especially your present C.H.A.P. These pleasant faces and behaviour from all including those that are behind the front scene such as laundry room. Staff have been helpful. I hope that my sister will continence to be happy.
