My mother was in Woodlands until the day she died. The staff there were excellent and can't thank them all enough, the care she received was well done and the staff took their time with my mother, my mother was well-liked.

All the management and staff we have met have been so lovely and caring. We feel blessed that Mum was able to get a room at Woodlands.

The information and reporting gathered in Mum's ring binder are so thorough and impressive; it reassures us that she is getting the best care we could hope for.

The manager, the nurses and all the staff at Woodlands Total Care Nursing Home provided exceptional care to my gran since she was admitted in March 2022. My gran who passed away a few weeks ago had always been cared for at home until the last few months when nursing care was required. Rest assured the team at Woodlands went above and beyond to provide excellent care. They were professional, trained, friendly, caring, discreet, maintained her dignity at all times and prompt in their communication with us about any matters relating to my gran. They looked after her very well, she was looking her best and her room was a good size, clean and tidy. Due to her health, the chefs prepared liquidised vegetarian food for her too which highlights how well she was cared for. The staff made a point of getting to know the relatives which was welcoming. Good links with local GP and health care professionals. I would highly recommend the home. Thank you so much for looking after my gran!

Woodlands Total Care Nursing Home is a wonderful nursing home. Staff give 110 per cent to all the residents. My mum was with them for nearly 3 years until she sadly passed earlier this year (2022). She was always happy and looking her best, very clean and tidy. The staff always kept in touch with me regarding any treatment or problems that might have arisen and were very prompt at dealing with any requests I had. The best way to describe Woodlands would be Homely.

Dad had been there for not quite three years. Over the time of Dad being in the care home, he felt lonely when the family wasn't there. He could have done with a few more drinks given - very dry when we came to visit, he couldn't do it himself and drink was on his bench but couldn't reach to have a drink or do it himself. Also very concerning to the family, he lost 7 stone in weight.

As a short term resident following major surgery, I found Woodlands to be a very welcoming place with a family feel. All the staff whatever their roles were friendly, caring, and professional. Nothing was too much trouble, all needs were met and requests fulfilled. Good link with local GP.
Supportive when needing to attend hospital appointments, arranging transport, and providing someone to accompany residents on those visits.

The greatest compliment I can pay is if I was in the same vulnerable situation again in the future I would have no hesitation in returning to Woodlands Nursing home for care and support. Thank you.

My grandad has been extremely well cared for at Woodlands. The manager has answered any questions we have and has done everything he can and more to make sure not only Grandad but also us as a family are happy. Even through covid, they have done their very best using FaceTime calls and taking deliveries of sweet treats for grandad. Grandad has just celebrated his birthday and they really made his day with a homemade huge chocolate cake, banner and balloons and included us with FaceTime calls to celebrate as we can’t be with him.

I honestly don’t think they could do any more for my grandad at this stage of his life and feel happy and relieved that he is well looked after every day.

Throughout the pandemic, the home has been great for my aunt. They have been a very safe home and have kept me updated on the progress of my aunt and her condition. Staff went out of their way to celebrate my aunt's birthday and even allowed a small window visit for this occasion, during the pandemic. Hats off to the staff and management at the home. Keep up the good work, highly recommended.

Credit where credit is due. I am very pleased that I found the right place for my very elderly mother, she has been well looked after, appears in much better shape since her move to this care home. All the staff are absolutely polite and do their level best to look after the residents. My review, however, is based on my own experience of dealing with both the management and staff and I can say that they are very professional in social care and well being of residents. I thank them for looking after my mum to the best of their ability.

This care home is remarkable with the best care anyone can give the residents. Hardworking staff, where they treat the residents as their own relatives. I am happy my friend lived here in Woodlands Nursing Home as he lived his great last life and enjoyed his stay. I highly recommend this to anyone else, as you will not find a loving care home like this one.

I found the carers to be warm and caring and dedicated to the residents. My mother was clean and well looked after and treated with respect, dignity and compassion. The activities could be a little more stimulating but this is not a reflection on the staff who always do their best.
