My nan was a resident and passed away at The Windmill. She was happy to have been there. She had lovely staff around her right till the end. The staff have been very good and caring towards our family. We all went to The Windmill after the funeral and again the staff was amazing. I cannot fault anything they did. I am very grateful to them all.

My father has been in this care home for a few years and the care is exceptional. We are always welcomed as a family and my father is always well presented and his room is clean and homely. The Home Manager has created a great team of staff who are all very committed to good care. I would highly recommend this care home.

Having visited consistently over the past 2 years we have noticed a vast improvement in the way The Windmill Care centre is being run. These changes we have noticed over the past three months with new management and staff in place. It's very reassuring to see such positive steps being taken and we look forward to seeing the continued improvements that are taking place.

I have visited The Windmill Care Centre several times to attend birthday and other celebrations, of one of your residents, whom I have known for at least 55 years. His wife is wheelchair-bound and is driven a considerable distance by her wonderful carer.

I cannot praise too highly the care and dedication of your staff, who are always helpful and courteous. You create a warm and caring atmosphere.

Overall Experience

My mother has been at the care home for five years and the care and love is second to none. The staff are polite and are always willing to help. The staff on the ground floor are superb. It would be nice to have more permanent staff, one thing though, is that one person, in particular, needs more help, she is brilliant but one on her own is wrong. They started doing tea and coffee and biscuits that has now stopped. Why?

Mum moved in on November 29th.
We are very pleased with how well she has settled in.
The staff are all very helpful and kind.
They all take time to get to know her and us.
It is lovely to have our Mum back.
She is always in different clothes and always clean.
She is taken out for lunch and shopping.
It's lovely to have "peace of mind" and knowing that Mum is safe and being looked after.

Thank you, everyone, at Windmill.

My Mum was staying at The Windmill Care Centre. Sadly she passed away 8th Dec 2016. I cannot praise the staff that took care of her enough, They were caring, kind and welcomed me whenever I visited Mum. The day Mum passed away they all came into her room to pay their respects, they were genuinely upset. I would tell anyone what a wonderful home it is and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Thank you to all of the staff at The Windmill.
