My mum has been a resident for just over a year at Kents Hill Care Home. The staff look after her extremely well and are caring and kind. They not only look after her - they also look after her family. They take great care of her husband/my dad when he comes to visit and are empathetic and kind to me too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home for friend's 'loved ones'. I can't pinpoint any particular staff member - they are all lovely. Thank you for looking after Mum so well.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly touched to hear how well your mum and your whole family has been cared for. It means the world to our team to know they've made a positive difference.
Mum been in care home since 2024 and overall myself and my brothers are very happy with the care given to mum. Sadly she doesn't communicate well so she is not using many of the facilities or taking advantage of the activities which look very good. Communication from the nursing staff is always very good and I'm always updated with any changes. The staff are always very courteous and professional and treat Mum with dignity. Overall I am very happy with the standard of care given and would recommend this care home.

The team will be delighted to hear your kind words about the experience you have as a family, and the care we provide for your Mum.
The food has improved too.
My mother is happy where she is.

The qualified nurses are excellent and knowledgeable and look after him really well. When we had a meeting with social services, they remarked how impressed they were with the nurse's in depth knowledge of my father compared to staff in other homes.
Everyone from the cleaners to the receptionists chats to my dad and make him feel special and cared for.
Whenever he has been admitted to hospital he always asks me to take him back to the care home straightaway!
The staff are equally kind to other residents who aren't as articulate as my dad and treat everyone with respect.
I would definitely recommend Kent's Hill
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. It means a great deal to the team to know that you feel confident and reassured about the care your father receives at Kents Hill. We are committed to provide a safe, respectful and supportive environment for all the people in our care, and it is rewarding to hear that our efforts are making a positive difference.
My father has been a resident at kents hill for nearly two years. The staff are amazing! The compassion, understanding and care provided for my father is excellent. From reception staff right through to the nursing team, carers, kitchen staff cleaners they are all amazing. This care home is spotless, the quality and choice of food is exceptional. Activities are appropriate for residents and offers a good choice. Communication between staff and myself is very good. I am extremely happy with Kents Hill, highly recommended.

Ever since my dad came to the nursing home, he has been cared for amazingly. Every single person is exceptional with what they do. They really care a lot about the residents. I recommend Kents Hill care home to everyone.
Thank you so much for your positive review we really value your feedback and have shared it with the team.
My mother has been living on the dementia floor at Kents Hill Care Home for few months, and our family has been consistently impressed with the quality of care she receives.
The staff are genuinely compassionate and attentive, always ensuring that Mum's individual needs and preferences are respected and met with dignity.
The home has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is always clean and well-maintained, which helps Mum feel comfortable and settled. A wide range of activities-from gentle exercises to arts and crafts-keeps residents engaged and supports their overall wellbeing.
Communication with the care team is excellent. They keep us regularly updated on Mum's health and are always quick to respond to any questions or concerns.
We're truly grateful for the high standard of care provided by the entire team at Kents Hill Care Home.

My initial impression was absolutely correct, my dad received the very best of care the whole time he was there, I absolutely could not fault it.
You cannot buy kindness and each and every member of staff was kindness personified!!
Thank you all I would recommend the home 1000%!!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a reivew, we are pleased to hear your dad is happy and we will pass on your comments to the team who will be delighted.
I found Kents hill staff always friendly , everyone spoke on entering and in corridors. One staff member in particular was amazing , you are very lucky to have her on your staff, she is very 'in tune' and empathetic with relatives and the resident always went the extra mile! Catering staff were polite and always knocked on door before entering room. Receptionists always greeted us. Clean and comfortable rooms . Would recommend your care home..
Thank you for taking the time to review our home. We are delighted to hear you find the team so friendly and that you would recommend Kents Hill care home. We will pass on your comments to the whole team.
My nan has continually been made to feel comfortable making fantastic relationships with all of the staff in the home they all treat her with the utmost respect and kindness they value the dignity, she deserves.
As a carer myself for many years, I was very skeptical about how she was going to be treated and I can't honestly say with my hand on my heart I wouldn't change it for the world all of the staff on the nightingale floor have become an extended family.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your positive comments regarding Kents Hill Care home and especially the Nightingale team. We are glad your experience reflects the high standards of quality care we hold ourselves to here at Kents Hill, Maria Mallaband Care Group.
I am unsure if I would recommend the home. Head office needs to be far more supportive and put some of the vast revenue they take and put back into the maintenance of the grounds and bedrooms. My mother's room needs attention and so does the bathroom. The garden is a mess with dangerous slabs which you have known about for some time. There have been some issues with quality of care and items going missing but have been resolved. Management needs more support from head office. No reply from email to head office!
Very caring staff - kind and gentle. Property - clean, tidy and smells fine. Residents treated with dignity at all times. Rooms adequate, but comfortable.
Always a friendly reception from the staff when I visit my sister at Kents Hill. Rooms and communal spaces are always clean and well kept. Feels like a home from home and the residents feel it is their home. Care is excellent, with just the right mix of professionalism and informality. Would certainly recommend it.
Can’t recommend this amazingly run care home enough.
The reception staff in particular are so so kind and make every effort in treating my mum with respect and patience.
My mum is always clean and happy. Everyone speaks to her whenever they pass her and this is lovely to see. A very inclusive and calm environment.
All staff are friendly, professional and care so much for the residents and their relatives. Staff always go the extra mile in kind, thoughtful ways, paying attention to detail. A fabulous home, giving peace of mind to our family for our ninety year old Father's care.
Moving your vulnerable parent into a care home is a stressful exercise so we were delighted to find that Kents Hill is an excellent care home and the staff are exemplary. They are welcoming, caring, respectful and highly professional. Mum is happier at Kents Hill than she has been for years and we are delighted with our choice. Thank you to all at Kents Hill for your dedication and your care.
The place is so clean and all the staff are so friendly, it’s more like a hotel than a care home. The rooms are decorated lovely with carpet and there is no clinical feel about it at all. It’s so relaxing and both my nan and grandad have been here and, honestly, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to give my nan a lovely stay for the last few months of her life. Another good point is that the staff will always make sure to have a catch-up with you about your family residents' progress and information on what’s happening with them. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough, always leave feeling my nan is safe and extremely well looked after which is more than a relief. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our home. I am so pleased that you are so happy with the care and environment that we are providing for your family. I will pass all your lovely comments on to the team here. Thank you again.
It is wonderful to see the positive interaction between all the staff and the residents and the fondness and friendliness shown so often.
The weekly activities programme is great for Mum's stimulation and the mere fact that the families are informed of these in a weekly newsletter, via email, is another indication of the care home's very special caring role. There are even activities at the weekends.
I feel very fortunate to have my mind at rest knowing that my mum is cared for in the best possible way. Also that I am only a short walk away from her for my visits.
Looking forward to seeing you soon and thank you again, Anu.
