Mum was so reluctant in her latter years to have to rely on residential care. However for six weeks until her passing, she was more than well cared for. Her own room, with the door open, meant she could see regularly people passing by. All staff were very attentive, caring and had time. Faultless in my opinion.

Since my mother moved into Parklands in December 2024 she has been well cared for. I have found the staff helpful and most of the ones I have dealt with have been friendly. The manager & assistant manager are approachable and listen to any concerns raised. My mums designated carer is excellent.

My mother has resided at Parklands for over a year. The team are connected, caring, working to high standards for my mother's wellbeing. Consequently, she is content and at peace. Nothing is too much trouble. The approach is proactive and diligent. It's all about the nursing and care, which is how it should be (but not always to be found in homes!).

From the moment our mum arrived, we've felt nothing but gratitude, comfort, and reassurance. The care she receives is nothing short of exceptional every member of the team shows such kindness, dignity, and compassion in everything they do.

It's never easy trusting others with someone you love so deeply, but the staff at Parklands have made it easy. They don't just care for Mum they care about her. We've seen her smile, laugh, and feel safe again, and as a family, that means the world.

We couldn't wish for more. Thank you for looking after her so beautifully. You've brought light to a difficult chapter in our lives, and we'll be forever grateful.

My mother was admitted to the nursing home in December 2024 from the beging the staff were excellent both with her care and ensuring her family were ok. Unfortunately my mother passed away at the beging of February 2025 and even in her last days and hours the staff were caring attentive to her ensuring she was clean and comfortable. We as a family couldnt of wished for better care towards her. Thank you to all the staff there.

I was very anxious leaving her to start with but my opinion soon changed. All the staff on the floor were very supportive to us and mostly amazing to our mum. Mum was always happy, comfortable, clean and pain was managed right up until she passed away. Thank you for looking after us too at the end with plenty of drinks and care.

They did everything to make him comfortable and were very kind and helpful to me and my family. They did their absolute best for my dad. They were always available for questions on his care and nothing was too much trouble for my dad (or us).

My father came to Parklands after 3 weeks in the hospital. He had been ill from a fall and was very poorly, muddled and anxious. The staff here were so kind and caring towards my dad. They tended to his every need and ensured he was safe and comfortable at all times. They treated him with respect and helped him retain his dignity. They also shared thoughtfulness, care and understanding towards myself and family. I cannot thank Parklands staff enough.

You will not be disappointed.

My mum was in the nursing home for a short time but while she was there she received great care, every member of staff was helpful and friendly, we could not have asked for a better place to end her days. Thank you.

As a family we had a preconception of care and we couldn't have been further from the truth. On first impressions perhaps the home did seem a little dated but it was clean and everyone was friendly. My nan stayed at Parklands for 3/4 months and I was shocked at how good the care was. The love and care my nan received, and I chose the word love carefully, was exceptional. Treated with dignity throughout her experience, everyone from the carers, nurses, reception/office staff, and even maintenance staff were utterly brilliant. As we entered the end-of-life care I was brought to tears a number of times by just how amazingly they looked after Nan. I cannot recommend Parklands enough, fantastic care from even better human beings.

All the staff were amazing and their kindness will never be forgotten.

My mother came in from hospital. All staff were supportive and caring. She was checked on regularly and was kept clean. The staff encouraged her to eat and drink in a very caring way.

Until recently, my brother was in the care of Parklands Nursing Home. The service and standard of care provided were second to none. My brother could be difficult at times but he was still treated with care and like a decent, honest human being for which my family and I would like to say a big thank you to the staff at Parklands.

My mother was a resident of Parklands from 7th December 2021 until she passed away 2nd December 2022. The kindness loving care shown to my mother was wonderful from nurses and carers who looked after her. I cannot thank you enough. Would highly recommend.

After a few falls and gradually becoming less independent in the last few months, especially due to her loss of sight, our Mum had carers four times a day. We soon realized she needed more all-around care. One carer recommended Parklands, so we took our Mum there on 29th July 2022. From the first day, we felt we'd made the right decision - the whole staff were competent, well-organized, very caring, helpful and cheerful. There was no sense of doom and gloom there. The care our mum received was wonderful, everything was clean and comfortable, and there was always someone nearby to check on her, and talk to her. My brother was able to visit her every few days, and I was able to phone from abroad, while one of the staff held the phone so we could have a little chat! When I came over to England to visit her in September, I was able to see her every day, and the manager made sure of that, for which I am grateful. Sadly Mum died on 10th November 2022. Thanks so much to all the kind staff for your care.

I would not hesitate to recommend Parklands to anyone. The staff and nurses are incredible, and I will never forget how well they looked after my mam and how much time they spent with her.
