my grandad was in Grays court for a short time due to his condition, we cannot fault the staff here. as a family we live 3 hours away and the nurses would always facetime us when grandad was well enough, the respect and dignity all the staff showed was just amazing. whenever we visited the home is clean, staff are friendly and always asked if we was okay and needed anything.
i would like personally like to thank the nurse that looked after grandad Mihaela and Helen as i know my grandad absolutely adored you both.

thank you for supporting us a family as well, with CHC process everything.

I went into respite care to recover and rest after surgery. My husband is disabled and I am his carer so he had to join me. I was extremely tired and slept a lot and was not "with it" some of the time. The staff was wonderful, they made me feel safe and cared for and they cared for my husband. The unit had a happy athmosphere thanks to the staff.

My Dad has been at the home for nearly a year, he is happy at the home and enjoys the activities. The staff are always helpful and treat Dad with dignity. The home could do with a freshen up paint work etc., but the care that my Dad gets is very good.

My mum has been here since August 2022, She had a fall and is bedbound, but the staff always come over to give her meals, to chat, to clean her and make her comfortable She started to knit, she watches TV and read. All staff are fantastic with her. I do recomend this place without hesitation and are very grateful for the caring of my mother. Thank you,

My mum has bean at Grays Court for 15 months and we can't thank all of the staff enough for the consistently exceptional care she has had throughout. My mum has been bedbound for several years and is in the late stages of dementia. All the staff are so kind and attentive and despite my mum not being aware of much I know she is content and very comfortable in her lovely room. The home cooked food is of a very high standard and always goes down well. Visiting my mum at this stage of life isn't easy for me and my brother but as soon as we arrive the staff are so welcoming and jolly in this wonderful home from home setting that despite the difficult circumstances the visits are always enjoyable. Helen, Mikhaela and the team are spot on with the nursing care, my mum has had no issues and is kept extremely comfortable, with regular communication updates. Having previously worked in the NHS I have visited many nursing homes, we are so grateful mum is at Grays Court getting the best care.

First things from management, head nurses, carers, maintenance, cleaning staff and reception all first class at what they do. The home is very friendly and professional all the nurses are informative with anything that involves my wife and always update me, I find everyone approachable from management through to cleaning staff. If I've ever had a problem and there haven't been many in for the four years my wife has been here it always gets handled in a positive and caring way. The biggest compliment I can pay to everyone in what undoubtably is the most traumatic time in our lives is I'm quite happy to come here and that down to everyone who works here.

My mother has been here a year now. She arrived in a poor state from the Hospital, she now has no bed sores, due to the excellent care given. She is content here and the staff are very attentive, Grays Court is very forthcoming with information and has an open door policy. Communication is good in all aspects.

My Mother has been in Grays Court for some time now. She is 94 and on the nursing care side as she is unable to look after herself. All of the staff are great with her, even when she's not engaging with them, they all make sure she is ok.

The nurses do a fantastic job. If there are ever any issues they let me know straight away. My mother is very well looked after and I'm very pleased that she is in such a wonderful, caring nursing home.

My mum's getting the best care here. We can't fault the care and attention she receives and as a family, we commented only yesterday that the meds review she's had here to make sure they're at the right levels is better than she ever had from her own GP. Everyone just seems to make time here to make sure everything's right - and that residents are happy. The food is also delicious and those who need help with it get help. You're also made to feel very welcome as a visitor at any time, by all staff! My mum doesn't always take part in activities but there's a lovely activities manager, who encourages everyone to take part if they're able, which means residents if they are able to join in are rarely bored.

It's hard to write a review when all you want is for your mum to be at home well and with her husband (dad). All we have asked for is that Mum is looked after with compassion and dignity which the nursing staff and carers have done.

I have nothing but praise for the ladies with the care they give to my mum. They both go above and beyond for Mum and our family, I cannot thank them enough. Although this review is dated March 2024 Mum is a long-term resident and the ladies still continue to give the highest level of care. She is always there for me personally with any questions and help that I need even on her days off and recently gave up time on her day off to come and have a review meeting with the social worker for Mum.

The home is clean and very well run, they look after my grandmother with love and care like they are a relation of theirs. They are professional in dealing with the situations that my gran has been in i.e. bad health and hospital visits. The communication between our family and the home cannot be faulted, with continued updates on health and well-being of my gran. The two ladies are absolutely amazing at what they do for my grandmother they have gone above and beyond! Cannot fault the service that they give! 5-star.

This care home has cared above and beyond for my father. They are friendly and welcoming and try to facilitate all that they can including video calls for when I'm unable to visit. Highly recommended. One nurse is outstanding at her job as she doesn't ever moan and is always tremendously helpful. Thank you.

The staff are the single most important asset to any care home. And at Grays Court all of the staff, reception, cleaners, carers, nurses are professional, caring, calm and approachable. I know that they are doing their best and I can raise any questions with them. Mum is pretty ill but she is warm safe and as far as is possible out of pain. Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant - not only looked after mum but also the rest of the family. The home had Mum for six years and made her and us happy and content with the care she received. The home was very caring on all sides of Mum's illness. The home was clean, and the care was faultless. We all agree it was made to feel like Mum's home and also made my dad so welcome.
