I found the staff very warm and welcoming each time I visited a great contrast to the hospital where no-one seemed to know about the patient. My family were pleased with care given to my dying husband and I felt kindly supported throughout the two weeks he was in The Grange. We were given a 60th anniversary card and congratulations by the staff I met on that day, wonderful experience at a very difficult time - my thanks to all.
Mum spent more that 5 years in The Grange, arriving during COVID. She has been supported and cared for with the utmost care and dignity throughout her whole time there.
Excellent care and kindness demonstrated at all times and nothing is too much trouble. Staff seem to really cate about the patient's wellbeing, the food is very good and fresh and it provides peace of mind during such distressing times.
My father was only in The Grange Nursing Home for just three weeks. In that short time I cannot fault his care. He was able to return his dignity right up until the end.
We are very happy with all aspects of my husband's stay at The Grange.
The staff here became her second family, she was well cared for. I was always kept informed of any changes to my Aunt's condition and was always made welcome when I visited her. When my Aunt passed away, staff came in on their days off to pay their respects, my aunt would have appreciated that and as her niece, I can't thank the staff enough for what they did for her. I will certainly miss my visits to The Grange.
The care at The Grange is out of this world. In all of my 40 years of business, I have never met staff and management so devoted to the well-being of their residents. They are all very polite, helpful and very caring. In all of the 16 months my wife was there everything was done for her comfort and wellbeing. I have been very impressed with them all.
Mum received great care from the staff, she was always treated with dignity and respect. We particularly appreciated the palliative care, especially at the end of mum's life. Her last few days were comfortable and peaceful.
Very good.
My mum was admitted for end-of-life care. She was with you for just over 3 weeks, during this time she received excellent care and the staff were all friendly when we came to visit. She had a lovely room overlooking the garden and, whilst she had wanted to die at home, this was the next best thing. Thank you.
The care my mum received was exemplary. She was very happy during her last week of life, receiving palliative and end-of-life care. The staff were all kind and caring towards the family and friends.
My wife was admitted at very short notice and late in the evening. Everything and everyone was very welcoming. That's how it stayed for approximately two months of her stay. All the staff are very grateful for the care given to her and us.
The Grange cared for my father for 14 months until his death. The care and attention he was given was always professional, friendly and caring. The staff are always excellent, and it was a great comfort knowing he was getting the right care.
As she was only there until she passed away, I can't give some ratings. The staff were friendly, helpful and caring. The home, other than the drive and car park (which was a mixture of water, gravel and mud) was very good.
My father was in for nine weeks and passed in September 2023.
They were both cared for with dignity and understanding. My mother was quite a one for changing behaviour. The carers were excellent and the food was very good.
My only wish is that there had been more activities.
They both had a good death, warm and comfortable in loving surroundings.
Mum was only there a very short time, but she was treated with care and attention, even though she was unaware of anything around her. The room, though small, was cheerful and fresh-smelling. The staff were kind and friendly and always made us feel welcome.
All of the staff offer the utmost kindness and support to the residents and visitors. Have found them to be very professional in all aspects of care and medical help. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.
A very caring home, all staff were very professional and understanding and nothing was too much trouble. My husband was at The Grange for end-of-life care and the staff couldn't have been any kinder to us as a family. Thank you to all of you.
My mum spent her final two weeks in The Grange and I could not have asked for better for her. The care was outstanding, the staff were fantastic and they made her comfortable in lovely surroundings. Thank you to all.
Friendly and helpful staff who offered my father the best possible care. They were very patient when he was difficult. He was in a much better place than in hospital. The family are most grateful.
