Dad has been very happy at Greenbanks, he enjoys the interaction with the staff and residents and loves the food. We are very happy with the care provided.
Hello Kate! Thank you so much for your kind words! Greenbanks is all about family
My mum has been a resident of Greenbanks since January 2026 since her dementia diagnosis began to progress quite significantly. We were offered 3 care homes to visit and Greenbanks was by far the standout when we went to visit these options. Mum was living alone prior to moving to the care home and the difference we have seen in her over these last few months has been incredible. Greenbanks do fantastic activities with the residents, it is always clean and tidy, the staff are incredible and the accommodation is very comfortable. We are very happy and grateful to have mum looked after so well and the family has complete peace of mind that she is eating when she should, getting her medication at the right times, is safe and able to socialise with the other residents and staff. We all thoroughly enjoy visiting her at Greenbanks where the staff have all gone out of their way to know our names, welcome us warmly and most importantly look after our mum / grandma so nicely
We do appreciate your very kind words and your review means a lot for us :)
Thank you :)
Great care delivered to residents. There is always something happening to keep them occupied. Home has a lovely friendly atmosphere and we are always welcome. Room is great, clean and tidy. Staff are amazing.
Thank you so much for your kind words and review!!
They are extremely attentive, always friendly and helpful and kind to both residents and visitors.
But is all, as well our residents and their families that makes Greenbanks a HOME :)
My mother in law recently moved into Greenbanks Care Home. The care and the love she has received from the manager and all the staff has been amazing. They are all very dedicated in making sure everyone feels part of the family there. We cannot thank them enough for everything they have done to make her feel welcome. This is an outstanding care home and would definitely recommend it to everyone. Thank you again.
Thank you for your kind review to our care home! Is a pleasure to care for your mother in law and all your family
I have been so impressed with Greenbanks they have provided my mum with excellent care and nothing is too much trouble. All of the staff are friendly, professional and very caring. Whenever I visit my mum she looks very well cared for and is also spoken to by the staff with respect. She has been very happy whilst staying at Greenbanks. Thank you to everyone.
Thank you very much for your review Fiona, is truly a pleasure to care for your mother and amazing to know that she is happy at Greenbanks.
When my father moved into Greenbanks, it was a big adjustment. However it was made effortless due to the staff's support and committment to caring not only for my father, but the whole family. The staff have quickly become extended family members to us all. The home is always well presented and has a family vibe to it. Just delighted!!
Hello, is amazing and a pleasure to have you and your father as part of our Greenbanks Family... Thank you so much for all you give to us all (residents and staff) :)
My mum has been resident for almost 18 months now & in that time she has gone from having no purpose to actively taking part in many of the games, & exercises most days (even gaining a love for Bingo, which she would never have played previously!).
The staff, from the cleaners, kitchen staff, carers, & management, all have a single minded approach to looking after the residents, ensuring a consistent level of service at all touch points. All of this under the magnificent leadership of the manager, who has done so much to improve the quality of care, service, & facilities at Greenbanks.
Every time I visit I am treated with huge respect & utmost courtesy, & it's clear this is the way they treat the residents at all times! In addition, all residents are treated individually based on their needs.
I can thoroughly recommend Greenbanks to anyone considering a home for their relative, & assure you that you won't be disappointed!
Thank you for your kind words about our staff. They are wonderful... but the greatest about Greenbanks are our residents and their families!! you are all part of Greenbanks... See you soon :)
My father is well looked after at Greenbanks. The staff are always very cheerful and helpful whenever I visit; they do an excellent job in attending to my fathers needs and engage with him on a friendly basis. He eats well and enjoys the 'outings' when they are arranged.
Thank you for your kind review on our lovely Home.
I would just like to say that the experience I have had so far is excellent. The staff have been very good to me. My husband is being well cared for, all in all I am glad he is in Greenbanks.
Thank you so much for your review !Is great to have you and your family as part of Greenbanks care
I cannot fault Greenbanks. The staff are incredible and really make you feel welcome and at ease when visiting. My impression is that they do a brilliant job of taking care of my grandmother (even when she is being her mischievous self)! It has a proper family ethos about it and I love popping in to visit. There is always something happening for the residents and the atmosphere is usually lively. The managers team are a credit to her - she runs the place with warmth and compassion and this is reflected in the care my grandmother receives.
Staff understand her needs and remain patient, attentive and professional at all times giving her exceptional care. The Manager and her team are welcoming and friendly when we visit. Communication is good and staff are always available to discuss her care.
There are daily activities and mum is encouraged to participate. She also enjoys the visiting entertainers and off-site visits.
Mum has a delightful spacious room which more than meets her physical needs and access to a well kept garden. The home is well maintained by all the staff and has recently updated many of the communal areas including a cafe area. The menu is varied and chef is happy to accommodate any likes or dislikes.
We are delighted with Greenbanks and appreciate everyone involved in caring and supporting mum.
Thank you so much for your amazing feedback!!! Thank you for being part of our family
My mother is very well cared for by the team. The team have many activities that they involve the residents in and although Mum is not able to participate fully they involve her.
The care I see them giving to every resident is warm and caring and attentive. The atmosphere in the home is happy and comfortable.
They have outings for the residents and also take residents to the local park when the weather is good.
Thank you Very much. Is a pleasure to have you and your family as part of Greenbanks Home.
Very happy with our visits . The staff are very welcoming and happy to talk to me about the person I have come to see. We are keep informed of thier health and wellbeing also any outings. It is. good you can visit any time.
Thank you, is a pleasure to care for your sister...
Greenbanks is a warm and welcoming environment for my mum and for me and other visitors. The home's managers are always listening and responsive and the carers try hard to provide a really personal experience. I have been impressed with how cheerful and positive all the staff are. The staff ratio seems good and response times to alarm calls are very quick, which gives me confidence regarding safety and attention for residents. Staff do a good job of keeping me informed with medical updates and the admin team actively and regularly seek feedback.
While the building and facilities are admittedly not the fanciest, there is an ongoing programme of improvement and renovation under the current owners.
Thank you so much for your review. Is our pleasure to care for your mother and to have you as part of our Greenbanks family.
Since the staff and management underwent changes this year, the care is noticeably more engaged with the residents. Staff are friendly towards visitors. My mother-in-law had a birthday and much effort was put in by staff to give her a good time. Also, a very successful BBQ was held on another occasion for everyone.
Thank you very much for your review. We appreciate your feedback. With best regards, Filipa.
An excellent caring home with staff that really care. Lovely rooms, nicely decorated with a wonderfully calm atmosphere. Stepdad has only been staying for a few months but was constantly reassured by staff to help him settle in. Staff communication throughout his settling-in period was first class - thank you.
Thank you for your lovely review. It has been our pleasure to have your step-dad join the Greenbanks family, and we are so pleased to have supported him to settle so well.
The food for lunch is a little hit and miss for Mum, she preferred the other female chef prior to the new chef, and issues like meat cut to thick ham, beef etc, (she can’t cut with the knife supplied, too blunt) too much mash potato, not enough variation, appreciate there is a wide variety of different needs however my mum will go without rather than ask for help. She cannot afford to lose any weight.
Thank you for your review, we are pleased to hear we have achieved our aim of providing compassionate care to our residents, and we are proud to be part of your mum’s care journey. We are sorry to hear of the concerns you have regarding the food, thank you for bringing them to our attention. We...
Residents always smiling and happy.

Smells nice throughout.
Such a lovely atmosphere to be in.
Lovely garden area to sit out in.
Just an amazing place to be, home from home.
Thank you for such a wonderful review! I have passed on your comments to the team, who are very grateful to hear such lovely feedback. It is our pleasure to create a home-from-home environment and to have that recognised. Thank you.
From the moment we walked in it felt right, very much at home. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is good. The carers are very friendly and helpful. My wife is always dressed well and kept clean.
Thank you for your kind review. We love to make all our visitors feel at home and we are privileged to be part of your wife's care journey.

Meet the Team (1)

I'm Filipa. I began my care journey at the age of 18, initially taking on the role of a care assistant to fund my degree. My passion for making a difference led me into social care, where I became a social worker for the Portuguese Red Cross. Upon my move to England, I began my career as a senior care assistant, navigating through various roles including team leader, field care supervisor, deputy manager, and now manager at Greenbanks. It's more than just a job to me - it's a heartfelt commitment to creating a home where residents and staff become family and where every day is an opportunity to make a difference.
