I visit Marlborough House 4 to 5 times a week. Staff are always very friendly and always make me feel welcome. I do feel that my mum is very well looked after. My mum has been in Marlborough House for almost 6 months now. Her anxiety, general health and appearance have definitely improved. She seems happy that she is being looked after so well.

My mother moved to Marlborough House a year ago from hospital on end of life care. Within two weeks she had gained strength and withon a month or two was almost back to how she was before being in hospital. I put this down to the care she has received at Marlborough House. The staff are all wonderfulm so kind and caring. The manager is responsive and always available. The food is excellent, my mother was not eating much at home, but now really enjoys her meals.

We are so delighted Mum is at Marlborough House, she's very happy. I would wholeheartedly recommend the home.

My mother had the most wonderful care for over 5 1/2 years whilst a resident. She was well looked after and always clean and comfortable. I lived overseas for 4 years of that time. The home would send us regular email updates, or if needed, would call. My mother passed this week, the home were excellent at helping me through this.

My uncle had a very short stay at Marlborough House during which time he was cared for with great love and respect.
I was very impressed by the relaxed and happy atmosphere in the home. Everyone greets you with a smile, from the management and admin team to all the nurses, maintenance staff, laundry personnel and nothing is too much trouble. I never met the kitchen staff but my uncle really enjoyed the tasty meals.
The home is spotless and nicely decorated providing a pleasant environment for everyone.
The rooms are of a nice size and well looked after.

I am very thankful for the kind and loving care that my uncle was given.

My dad moved into Marlborough House in January 2025, and the difference in him since then has been remarkable. He was struggling with various health issues after a lengthy hospital stay, but, thanks to the consistent, compassionate care he now receives, his wellbeing has greatly improved.
The staff are always warm, welcoming, and professional. Dad is immobile and needs to be moved by hoist into his chair, and this is always done with care, dignity, and encouragement. They support him to get up and out of bed as much as possible, which has helped keep him more engaged and comfortable.

We're so grateful for the exceptional care he receives. It's made a world of difference to him and given our family real peace of mind.

This was my Dad's home for 18 months, he moved from another nursing home, I didn't have that much experience of care homes and thought they would all be similar, I could not have been more wrong. My Dad had dementia, but the environment was so much better for him, he actually improved, they gave him his dignity and independence back. The carers and nurses are incredible, but as other reviews have commented on, it's the whole team from catering, maintenance, administration, laundry and cleaners, they were all incredibly kind to him. At the end my Dad's cognition and mobility were both severely affected. He was able to stay and the end of life care for him was incredible.

The manger said to me, before my Dad became resident, something like "This will be your Dad's home, we just work here". At the time I thought that sounded nice, but now I disagree, there is absolutely no "just work here" to what happens at Marlborough House, the team do amazing and important things.

I have visted many care homes over the years but never have I visited one like Marlborough House. A very dear friend of mine moved in around June this year and I visit him twice weekly. I have always found the staff very welcoming, immensely kind and considerate. They always greet me with a smile and from what I have observed, their care towards the residents is nothing short of beautiful. A gold star award to them all as far as I am concerned.

My mum was 98 and was taken unwell on 4th January 2024. She was admitted to a hospital then a different hospital and then to another care home for further rest during her stay at the home she developed delirium and the delirium team moved her to Marlborough House Church Crookham in about May. Her stop there was until her death on 15th July 2024. Omg her care at Marlborough House was exceptional even I couldn't have given my mum the love, attention, dignity and respect that all the staff there gave her from the top assistant manager to the cleaners. The nursing care team and carers are outstanding in their field. It is warm and welcoming and I can't express the thanks I have for each and every member of the team who cared for my mum. A special mention to one nurse in particular who had the upmost respect for my mum as she passed, that moment will stay in my heart forever.

My mum came to Marlborough House in March 2024. Her needs were complex, but I can not praise the entire team enough. The care is outstanding. Staff are friendly, approachable and nothing is too much trouble. They have looked after her with kindness and dignity.
From management, admin, nurses, carers, kitchen staff, cleaners, laundry and maintenance - everyone made this move to a nursing home so much easier.

I would definitely recommend.

We were very pleased that my sister was 'looked after' in Marlborough House, she was there for four years. We found the staff to be kind and considerate. Also, Marlborough House was one of the first to lockdown during Covid, so kept residents safe. So I would highly recommend this nursing home.

For three years you cared for my dear sister-in-law. Such a pleasant, hospitable, friendly, welcoming and caring home for her. You tick all the boxes. Over such a long period, you gave the loving care our family had struggled with! Thank you so, so much, you became her family for three years. We will never forget you all.

My mother has been a resident for five years now and I couldn’t ask for a more caring, home-from-home nursing home.
My mother has dementia and is bedridden with special dietary requirements and I can honestly say she is so well looked after in every aspect of her needs, she has always been very happy.

The staff are always on hand to answer any question and I’m kept updated about all her care needs. The nursing home has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and nothing is any trouble for the staff.

My uncle has been here for over 2 and a half years. The home has improved so much since he first came here. The staff from cleaners, carers, receptionists, manager and cooks are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My uncle is very happy here and I am glad we chose this home for him. If you have any concerns the manager is amazing and will always find the time. Excellent place.

I cannot fault the care and standard of dignity shown by the staff at Marlborough House towards my father in the 9 months he resided there. Everybody was kind, caring and helpful and the place had a homely feel about it which was one of the reasons why we chose it.

I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anybody thinking of taking up residence there.

I write to say my experience when visiting my dad. When you entered the home there would be a warm welcome from the receptionist to care, nurses domestic or even kitchen staff. The staff would always on a regular basis check on my dad. All the staff no matter who would look smart, clean and happy. I would recommend any of my family or friends to this home. Welcome to their continuous hard work. We were proud to send my dad there.

My father-in-law came to Marlborough House in February 2017 from hospital as it was no longer possible to care for him at home. The room was clean and bright and the management and staff were very welcoming to the family and himself. He took part in the activities on offer and was encouraged to socialise.

Families are welcome to visit at any time and the staff always took the time to speak to us. As his condition deteriorated, he was treated with love and dignity and the staff were always on hand. The nursing staff were exceptional and vigilant, nipping everything in the bud and preventing any more trips into hospital. We are very grateful for everything they did.
