I have found the staff very helpful and will go that extra mile, if my husband lets them, as he has dementia. The home is a bit tired looking, but it has been renovated, and there is always someone working on it, and they let my husband help, so this helps him and keeps him happy, as part of his job
involved working outside. The staff are very obliging with relatives and very reassuring.

We have been very happy with now my nan has settled into Berehill House, and that has been down to the outstanding care that all staff have demonstrated consistently, not only to my nan but also my grandad when he has been visiting. All staff behave with such empathy, compassion, and thoughtfulness,
alongside their professionalism. My nan is now eating better and joining in with activities. She has settled in so well.

A huge thanks to all of the care staff at Berehill House for the help, support, and most especially the kindness they showed my dad during his time there.
From the moment he arrived at Berehill he quickly grew to enjoy being there and loved getting to know both the staff and residents. They all made
his final months feel settled, happy, and as comfortable as possible during what was a very difficult period as his health declined. For that, I truly cannot thank them enough.
Dad often spoke about the wonderful conversations he had with the care staff. He fondly mentioned the little moments that meant so much to him - breakfasts with the residents, the bird experience, and even the fast food chicken nuggets and apple pies provided. He genuinely enjoyed getting to know everyone at Berehill and they became like a second family to him.
I would like to pass on my heartfelt thanks to everyone at Berehill from myself and my family for everything they have done.

My uncle had a very short stay at Marlborough House during which time he was cared for with great love and respect.
I was very impressed by the relaxed and happy atmosphere in the home. Everyone greets you with a smile, from the management and admin team to all the nurses, maintenance staff, laundry
personnel and nothing is too much trouble. I never met the kitchen staff but my uncle really enjoyed the tasty meals.
The home is spotless and nicely decorated providing a pleasant environment for everyone.
The rooms are of a nice size and well looked after.
I am very thankful for the kind and loving care that my uncle was given.

My father was only in the care home for 2 weeks before he went into hospital and sadly passed away, but in the 2 weeks he was at Berehill House he was looked after wonderfully. All the staff there are so caring and professional

My dad moved into Marlborough House in January 2025, and the difference in him since then has been remarkable. He was struggling with various health issues after a lengthy hospital stay, but, thanks to the consistent, compassionate care he now receives, his wellbeing has greatly improved.
The staff
are always warm, welcoming, and professional. Dad is immobile and needs to be moved by hoist into his chair, and this is always done with care, dignity, and encouragement. They support him to get up and out of bed as much as possible, which has helped keep him more engaged and comfortable.
We're so grateful for the exceptional care he receives. It's made a world of difference to him and given our family real peace of mind.

This is more of a generic rather than related to one visit! The home is well run and presented well after recently undergoing a refit. The staff are always friendly and all I have seen is kindness and compassion to the residents. Sometimes I feel they are under staffed due to buzzer response times but
they do very well with the staff they have. I would recommend Berehill well done to manager + staff.

I have been a resident since August 2024 and am well cared for here. I was thoroughly spoiled on my birthday in February; and more generally the standards are excellent. We get good quality food with plenty of choices and the healthcare staff are thoroughly professional. The staff are very friendly
and I feel very lucky to be here. The room I am in suits my needs.

This was my Dad's home for 18 months, he moved from another nursing home, I didn't have that much experience of care homes and thought they would all be similar, I could not have been more wrong. My Dad had dementia, but the environment was so much better for him, he actually improved, they gave him
his dignity and independence back. The carers and nurses are incredible, but as other reviews have commented on, it's the whole team from catering, maintenance, administration, laundry and cleaners, they were all incredibly kind to him. At the end my Dad's cognition and mobility were both severely affected. He was able to stay and the end of life care for him was incredible.
The manger said to me, before my Dad became resident, something like "This will be your Dad's home, we just work here". At the time I thought that sounded nice, but now I disagree, there is absolutely no "just work here" to what happens at Marlborough House, the team do amazing and important things.

I have visted many care homes over the years but never have I visited one like Marlborough House. A very dear friend of mine moved in around June this year and I visit him twice weekly. I have always found the staff very welcoming, immensely kind and considerate. They always greet me with a smile and
from what I have observed, their care towards the residents is nothing short of beautiful. A gold star award to them all as far as I am concerned.

My mum was 98 and was taken unwell on 4th January 2024. She was admitted to a hospital then a different hospital and then to another care home for further rest during her stay at the home she developed delirium and the delirium team moved her to Marlborough House Church Crookham in about May. Her stop
there was until her death on 15th July 2024. Omg her care at Marlborough House was exceptional even I couldn't have given my mum the love, attention, dignity and respect that all the staff there gave her from the top assistant manager to the cleaners. The nursing care team and carers are outstanding in their field. It is warm and welcoming and I can't express the thanks I have for each and every member of the team who cared for my mum. A special mention to one nurse in particular who had the upmost respect for my mum as she passed, that moment will stay in my heart forever.

My mum came to Marlborough House in March 2024. Her needs were complex, but I can not praise the entire team enough. The care is outstanding. Staff are friendly, approachable and nothing is too much trouble. They have looked after her with kindness and dignity.
From management, admin, nurses, carers,
kitchen staff, cleaners, laundry and maintenance - everyone made this move to a nursing home so much easier.
I would definitely recommend.
