When visiting Hampton Lodge there is always a feeling of calmness. Carers and management are helpful and welcoming. On behalf of the family I sincerely thank all involved with my partners care during her time there.
Thank you for your lovely words, they are much appreciated.
Caring, incredible staff. Extremely friendly towards relatives visiting, most importantly to residents. Staff always approachable, calm and willing to share information re your relative. Plenty of activities to participate in if residents wish. All staff are truly wonderful.
Thank you for your kind words. We've tried our best to make a difference in your cousin's life. Her beautiful grins and your support will be missed.
My mother was a resident of Hampton Lodge for one week. I cannot fault the care she was given. The staff were professional, friendly and very kind to my mother. I was kept up to date on what was going on going treatment, and I was allowed to visit her daily. The chaplain at Hampton Lodge was also very helpful and informative, and gave myself and my mother support. I would recommend Hampton Lodge to friends and family looking for a first class nursing home.
Thank you for your very positive review of Hampton Lodge. I will share this with our team. I am sure they will appreciate your feedback.
My Husband has just had another fabulous 2 week stay here. The care he receives when here is outstanding and I can have a break without worrying about him. Thank you to all the staff here you are all amazing.
Thank you for your kind words, we like to have your Husband with us.
Our sister Katherine moved to Hampton Lodge in August 2025, and we cannot express how grateful we are as siblings for the care she received while she lived there. The last four months of her life were defined by dignity, compassion, and kindness from all the members of the Hampton Lodge community. Despite her short stay there (due to her passing away in December 2025 through expected natural causes) as siblings we all feel she was welcomed, loved, and cared for in the best possible way. We will always remember the kindness of the Hampton Lodge staff and I can only recommend their services highly.
Thank you for your lovely words, which are appreciated. We are going to miss her dearly.
My sister lived the last 4 months of her life in Hampton Lodge. She received outstanding care. The nurses and carers didn't just attend to her needs; they gave her holistic, professionalised care and developed true relationships with her. Even the cooks and the maintenance staff paid special attention to her, e.g., cooking her favourite food and taking the initiative to put pictures up on her walls to make her room more homely. She lived the best life and died the best death that she possibly could have. The manager and staff also cared very much for our family. I would recommend Hampton Lodge extremely highly.
Thank you for your review of our team. We are delighted that you found our care for your sister excellent and that you feel your sister lived the best life and died the best death possible at Hampton Lodge. This is exactly what we aim for. We send our sincerest condolences to you and thank you for your kind words.
My sister Katherine lived the last four months of her life in MHA Southampton. The care was outstanding. The dedication of the team was wonderful to see; as a team and as individuals the carers and nurses went above and beyond to make Katherine feel at home. I would heartily recommend this home to prospective clients.
We do miss the 'hello my friend' and her warmth.
Stayed for 2 weeks' respite. The care I was given was outstanding. I loved being here. Thank you so much for everything. Can't wait for my next visit.
With increasing age/frailty, Mum has moved to the nursing wing. Her needs are met, and we have no concern over her care or well-being.
Thank you for completing a review. I am delighted that you are happy with the care we give your mother and will share you kind words with the staff team.
What a wonderful loving careing place. My mum was well looked after i could not fault a thing with Hampton Lodge. Her every need was catered for by the kind loving staff. The staff showed kindness compassion and dignity to everyone. Mum was treated very very well right to her end. A massive big thank-you from the bottom of our hearts from her daughters.
Thank you for your lovely comment, which is much appreciated. I will share this with the staff team.
Excellent provisions and care. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, from nurses to health care assistants, admin and everyone involved, not forgetting the manager who had a good understanding and knowledge of family needs included. Very welcoming and highly recommended. Thank you for caring for my mother for almost a year and a half. Much appreciated.
Thank you for your positive review and your appreciation. I will share your kind words with the staff team.
Mum has had excellent care here; The staff are kind and thoughtful and worked really hard to make sure she had everything she needed, even to the point of getting her to hospital visits when it was really hard. They took the time to get to know Mum personally, and she was happy, safe and comfortable. Thank you so much.
On behalf of Hampton lodge I want to say thank you for the wonderful words, which are much appreciated.
Staff are excellent, committed and caring. Everywhere is extremely clean and doesn't smell like a care home at all.
On a glorious Wednesday, my husband and I were part of a little adventure. My husband is a resident at Hampton Lodge and the wonderful staff took us on a river cruise on the charity-funded catamaran. In my husband's words, it was wonderful. The lush peaceful walks and gardens along the river, it was a joy. Thank you to the staff.
We are happy to know that you both enjoyed the trip. We hope to have you with us again for further adventures.
Staff are well trained and very respectful. Hampton Lodge is well led by an experienced team and many staff have worked there for at least five years.
There is an air of calm, it is very clean. The kitchen staff try hard to accommodate any personal food requests. My father's room is light and bright with a pleasant view. The gardens are well-maintained and attractive. They are regular activities for the residents, art, singing and armchair exercises. Hair dressed and chiropodist make regular visits. There is a chaplain available and church services.
I could never imagine my father being in a nursing home, however, he settled quickly.
I feel that we have built a really good relationship with the staff and that they know Dad really well too!
Well done to everyone at Hampton Lodge. We really appreciate everything you do!
On behalf of Hampton Lodge, I want to say thank you for your kind words. I'll share your lovely feedback with our team.
Everyone who visits is delighted with the care. Staff are very willing to answer queries and provide services. The facilities are very good. Appreciate visitor's toilet!
Thank you for sharing your positive experiences with us. It is heart-warming to receive such positive feedback.
All members of staff at Hampton Lodge are always very professional with the residents' needs from the senior managers to the care staff, A very well-run care home. A beautiful purpose-built building with all the facilities which is perfect for people with dementia. My mother has been at Hampton Lodge for almost five years, which gives me great peace of mind that she is so well looked after.
I have been visiting my friend of many years, I have found her very well cared for. The staff at the care home are caring and treat the residents with friendliness and dignity. Her room is spacious and clean and she has personal items i.e. family photos displayed. There is an air of calm in the home and the public rooms have games, puzzles and a TV. Entertainment is provided during the week which encourages conversation. Although my friend would prefer to be in her own home she has accepted she needs care and often says 'I am cared for with kindness so have no complaints whatsoever'.
Thank you for taking the time to review Hampton Lodge. Your kind words are greatly appreciated.
My father was admitted for end-of-life care and was only in a week but the care, support, compassion and kindness shown to us and to my father was wonderful. Everyone went that extra mile and always had time for my dad and us whatever he needed. At the end of the final hours it was very quick but everyone involved acted quickly, promptly, and the pain relief and other medication was given to make my dad comfortable. The staff constantly checked on my dad and gave wonderful end-of-life care. One of the most touching things was they laid a butterfly blanket on the bed, it was so lovely. Having this wonderful care made such a difficult situation much easier to bear and as a family we are totally grateful and it has given us so much comfort at a very difficult time. Thank you to all the lovely staff, truly dedicated, professional and extremely kind.
Thank you for your kind words, especially at such a difficult time. We really are grateful that you appreciate the care we gave. It is what makes MHA special.
Loads of activities too and an onsite chaplain. I would happily be a resident myself at Hampton Lodge.
Thank you for your lovely words, they are very much appreciated.
