Excellent staff and management - very courteous and efficient. Food very good too. Care first class, An excellent summer party with a wonderful spread. I am very impressed with this care home - highly recommended.

Northwood care home staff are very nice and helpful staff. They ensure a loving and respectful environment to residence and visitors. They do their best with taking care of my grandma and making sure she is comfortable. They have created a positive bond and relationship with my grandma and I'm very grateful for the care they have towards her.

The staff here are very good. Always friendly and helpful. I find the noise difficult and I am not used to being around people with dementia. They have started doing activities recently which is good.

My father is new to Northwood Nursing Home and while I was nervous to move him there, the compassionate and friendly staff have made me feel at ease. They do an amazing job and I'm thankful of the hard work they put in every day to make my father comfortable and happy.

Since my family has been in your care I have noticed that they seem a lot happier and interact more with the care staff. Looking more groomed and cared for.

I visit my mum four times a week. In the early days, my mum found the home a bit strange as it was a new environment. However, within 3-4 weeks, she began to settle down. The staff were polite and caring. I could say they look after very well. They play and interact with my mum. They talk to her. Some staff speak Gujarati, and this helps my mum communicate and understand her. I would recommend this home to family and friends if they need similar care.

Have been visiting the home since July 3-4 times a week. My mother-in-law was a challenging patient. The staff worked on her with patience, dignity and care, and she has now settled down well.

The manager, deputy manager and staff have been very supportive of me and my husband who has settled in very well. Unfortunately, my husband's speech, due to his Alzheimer's, is not recognisable and difficult to follow, despite this, the carers are giving him the best possible care and work closely with me on his needs like food and hair cuts etc. My husband is always well dressed and clean. I am sorry I cannot make any comments on his room, the facilities or activities due to COVID restrictions. Thank you all at Northwood Nursing Home.

The carers are very good. I love being with them. The nurses are very good and they tell me all about my symptoms. The home has kept me safe in the midst of the pandemic, I am grateful to the people who look after me.
