Excellent staff and management - very courteous and efficient. Food very good too. Care first class, An excellent summer party with a wonderful spread. I am very impressed with this care home - highly recommended.

My sister is happy here. We had a lovely garden party .with music and good food. Staff are always very attentive ..she has been living here the past 20 years..and is happy ..she has settled in well and has made friends too.

Northwood care home staff are very nice and helpful staff. They ensure a loving and respectful environment to residence and visitors. They do their best with taking care of my grandma and making sure she is comfortable. They have created a positive bond and relationship with my grandma and I'm very grateful for the care they have towards her.

I have really enjoyed my time here volunteering at MD Homes. I learnt loads about how to treat residents with care and dignity as well as how to deal with challenging behaviour. The staff here take the utmost care to treat the residents well and ensure they are comfortable, they are very patient, guiding me as to how to entertain patients and ultimately care a lot, which is exemplified in their care for residents.

My mum was a resident at Frithwood for nearly 5 years. Whenever we visited she looked clean and well looked after. She enjoyed all the activites and the staff were really friendly and helpful. She was always treated with dignity and compassion. If she was unwell, we were always kept updated. Even in her final days, she was made comfortable and well looked after, and they had still taken the time and care to paint her nails which I thought was lovely. I would definitely recommend Frithwood.

The staff are so wonderful in their spirit, skilss, patience and care for my aunt. The home is kept in excellent condition. On my visit today, I was greeted with a warm smile and a brief update on how my aunt has been today. I was then brought to her room where another staff member was sitting with her. They brought us tea and allowed us privacy to be with my aunt. The rooms and common space are always spotlessly clean and there is the overwhelming feeling in the home of calm and care.

With every visit I am struck by the quality of care and kindness which is given to every resident. As a family member who can't visit every week it is very comforting to know that the management & staff have all residents best interests at heart & we are told of any changes in health & wellbeing as they happen. Communication is excellent & we are very grateful to all who work here.

Brilliant care , compassion and go above and beyond. My Mum is settled and happy and looked after exceptionally . The team engage with residents and there is a genuine care for them. I feel very lucky that my Mum has the care she does

I am incredibly grateful for the kindness and care my dad has received at Carrick House. After arriving in a very poor state following previous care, the positive care and difference they have made to his wellbeing has been remarkable and something our family will always be thankful for. The level of care that the staff provide is absolutely excellent giving us complete peace of mind knowing our dad is in such safe hands. The home is clean, welcoming, good food, activities keeping him engaged. Choosing Carrick House was the best decision we could have made for our dad.
