I simply can't recommend this beautiful home well enough. My Mum spent her last year in their care, and they were simply stunning in their attention, love and care - a lovely home full of wonderful people.

From my first call to St Michael's, I was greeted with warmth and compassion. The ongoing care from the nurses and carers for my mother was an outstanding empathy and professionalism, patience and understanding. The act of sympathy, sensitivity and love at the parting of my mother from this world to

The care my partner received in st micheals was amazing all the staff from carers,kitchen,cleaners,laundry,activities,reception and management was the best anyone could ask for my partner was treated respectfully and with care. My mum has been at St Michael's since August 2024. I'm very happy with her progress when she was admitted she came from hospital. She was under weight only weighing 40k. But with the good care she is almost 50k, she has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The chef is very
good at applying the correct diet even pureed food for Mum as she has no teeth. Personal care is excellent her room is clean and kept warm.

Mum was looked after well at St Michael's Care. In particular the staff were exceptionally kind, respectful and helpful. The manager was also friendly and helped mum settle. There was a good range of activities each afternoon. Mum sadly was too unwell to participate in these most days. All staff from
the nurses, care workers, receptionists, activity co-ordinator, laundry lady work hard to provide a caring and homely setting. They all helped to make mum as comfortable as possible in her final months. Thank you St Michael's

My stepfather was in St Michael's Care for one week, being moved there from the hospital. The care at St Michael's is amazing, nothing is too much trouble. The proprietor was very welcoming and helped us with any questions. The staff were always happy, friendly and smiling. My stepfather was comfortable
at all times right up to his passing. I cannot thank St Michael's enough for the fantastic care given.

St Michael's Care is a lovely care home, not only is it in a beautiful area, it is immaculately clean. The staff are so friendly, caring and professional, the food is fantastic and anything you could need is there. My uncle was certainly well looked after, couldn't have wished for better.

My father came to St Michael's Care in November 2024 for end of life care. Since the day he has arrived he has had nothing but exceptional consistent care. The carers are kind and thoughtful to his needs and nothing is too much trouble. He has said how safe he feels since being there. As a family we

Unfortunately, my Mum was only transferred to St. Michael's on the Wednesday and sadly passed away in hospital on the Sunday, however, I am absolutely certain Mum would have been happy and well cared for by all members of staff. The manager was so welcoming and 'on the ball'. The nurses and care assistants
were professional and so caring.
I was welcomed by the receptionists every time I arrived.
I am just so very sad that Mum was not able to benefit from a longer time there but I can honestly say, Mum received better care in those few days than she did in the years she spent in another local care home. Thank you everyone.

I would like to express deep gratitude to every member of staff at St Micheal's for the wonderful care my husband received during his end-of-life care. They made a very difficult time absolutely bearable for me and the family. We were made to feel cared for too, especially our dog who spent many hours
at the window watching squirrels, much to the amusement of the staff.
All in all, the manager and her team at St Micheal's go well over and beyond, all one could hope for with the care and compassion my husband received at the end of his life. You couldn't have done more. Again, I thank each member of staff at St Micheal's for that. You are all amazing.

Absolutely wonderful. I couldn't have wished for a nicer home for my mum. The staff are all so caring and helpful, from kitchen cleaners through to activities team. There is a warm welcome and encouraging people to get involved in quizzes etc. My mum loves being with people, St Michael's is a big family.

My grandad was at St Michael's Care Home for a few weeks before passing away there. The care and compassion was amazing. They made him feel welcome. They made sure he was looked after well. Staff were very helpful and very caring right to the end. The home itself was very clean and a beautiful home

I was extremely happy with every aspect of the nursing home. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the care my wife received was exemplary.
The facilities were first class and ensured all residents were treated with respect and dignity.

My mother has just moved into St Michael's and I can not emphasise enough just how super this care home is. The levels of care; compassion and love given are wondrous and that includes the thought; care and compassion given to my husband and I. This is a new chapter for us all and St Michael's allows

Rema

Rema Sankaran

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2005

We are delighted to welcome Rema Sankaran as our home manager at St Michael’s Care.


Rema joins us with a wealth of experience, having started in the acute sector and worked globally in this field. Having joined St Michael’s in 2005 she quickly became an integral and valued member of the team, being promoted to Clinical Lead responsible for the nursing team. Her experience and knowledge of our home and the residents make her – we feel – the ideal person to lead the team and we are delighted for her. You can be assured of the very highest standards of person-centred care under Rema’s guardianship and we look forward to continuing the many years of success and great care that she has been a part of.

Sharon Parker

Sharon, our Office Manager has been a part of the team at St Michael's Care since February 2009.


She is friendly and has a welcoming approach, she is always willing to give advice, not only to the residents/relatives but to the staff too... she is the secret glue to our home!

Dawn

Dawn Erby-Weare

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2017

Dawn was a qualified Nurse for over 20 years, previously working in the community with bundles of knowledge and experience.


She is our go-to lady when it comes to our online care plans and keeping our staff in check with their training.

Millie Parton

Job Title: Receptionist & Customer Relations Officer Joined: 2011

Millie has been a part of the team at St Michael's Care since June 2011.


Millie started at St Michael's as a Health Care Assistant where she cared for our residents for over 6 years. She then became our Receptionist back in August 2017.


As the years have passed, Millie has worked hard and this time 4 years ago, alongside her Reception role she became our Customer Relations Officer where she looks after all our enquiries, holds viewings for the families of potential new residents and builds relationships with them to ensure a smooth admission into our home.
Millie also keeps our social media and website up to date with St Michaels events & activities, and builds relationships within the local community, alongside organising our open days and events.


Millie is enthusiastic, bubbly and friendly... Often described as an excitable puppy. Should you have any questions you will find her at the reception desk or hidden in the small library lounge on Botany Bay.

Emma

Emma Harris

Job Title: Senior Administrator Joined: 2013

Emma has been a part of the team here at St Michael's for 10 Years.


Emma started at St Michael's as a Senior Health Care Assistant on nights where she cared for our residents for 4 years, she then went on to be our Receptionist for 2 years.


6 years on from joining the team, Emma has progressed to our Senior Administrator, she shares the finance office with Linda and together they make a fab team.


Emma is friendly, chatty and always willing to help others... so, although she is hidden away in her office upstairs, remember the door is always open should you have any financial questions.

Gina

Gina Minter

Job Title: Housekeeper Joined: 2011

Gina has been a member of St Michaels for 12 years.


When she first joined the team she was a Healthcare Assistant, and she cared for our residents for 9 years before changing roles to be our Housekeeper.


Gina takes pride in her work to ensure that our home is cleaned to a professional standard and although her role changed 3 years ago, she still has that caring side, she is bubbly and friendly and engages well with our residents whilst cleaning their rooms and helps in any way she can.

Holly

Holly Stevens

Job Title: Healthcare Assistant Joined: 2022

Holly has only been a part of the team here at St Michael's Care as a Health Care Assistant for 6 months.


Although Holly has not been with us long and did not have previous experience with care work, she has certainly fit right into the role with her caring and compassionate personality.


Holly was keen to become a Health Care Assistant alongside going to University to study Psychology and is due to graduate this year. Once Holly has graduated, she then wishes to further her education by completing her NVQs in Health & Social Care here at St Michael's.


With the training and support from the team here, Holly has fitted in very well.
