Overall Experience

My mother only spent a few months at the Grange before sadly passing away aged 92. She was firmly of the view that she never wanted to go into a home. Within a few days she was settled in and happy. Because of her deteriorating health I was visiting three or four times a week so quickly met all the staff involved with Mum. All were extremely friendly and caring. They clearly respected Mums wishes and always allowed her to make choices. The respect for Mums dignity was reinforced as she entered "end of life" care. Staff were regularly checking with me to make sure I was happy with Mums choices be it about feeding and pain relief.

Zoe Spillane
Zoe SpillaneJob Title:Home ManagerJoined: 2026

As Home Manager at The Grange Care Centre, I am proud to lead such a caring and dedicated team. With over 20 years of experience in social care, and having grown up in a village myself, leading a care home rooted in village life feels genuinely special to me. I joined Forest Healthcare in February 2026, and my approach has always been the same: to ensure every person in our care is treated with the same warmth and dignity we would want for our own families.
