The residences include Brownscombe Nursing Home; established in 1984, an Edwardian country-house setting offering a choice of luxurious, single rooms, some with direct access to private patios and gardens. Each room comes with a multi-position, electric profiling bed, HD TV, private phoneline, Wi-Fi, and nurse attendant system. Set in its more than 3 acres of landscaped gardens, is the newly built Brownscombe Lodge, also providing a range of private en-suite bedrooms, complete with full wet room facilities.
The beautiful conservatory offers a relaxing retreat, looking out to alluring wisteria in the gardens, which is popular amongst residents for pursuing their gardening and outdoor activities. Residents also enjoy access to a choice of two lounges, a cinema, hair salon and nail bar. With a striking turret and hand-carved door from Nepal, Brownscombe bursts with character and its unique appearance is only enhanced by the beauty of the surrounding Surrey countryside.
Every day, meals are freshly prepared and individually tailored to residents' needs with the choice to eat in a welcoming bistro and dining room. Brownscombe Care provides a high-quality service in a friendly and homely environment, so all residents can live independently. Residents also have the opportunity to get involved with a range of mentally and physically stimulating activities, organised by the activity coordinator.

Brownscombe House has been perfect for my father. The staff are truly amazing, and the rural surroundings provide a beautiful and peaceful environment. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel extremely welcome. My father soon settled in and came to think of it as his home and the carers as his family.
He particularly appreciated the efforts the staff made to celebrate his last birthday with us. Caring for someone with dementia can be challenging at times, but I am pleased to say that the team were always attentive, kind and genuinely caring. They were also happy to adapt his care to meet his individual needs, rather than expecting him to fit into an established routine.
Throughout his time at Brownscombe he was always treated with the dignity and respect he deserved, particularly towards the end of his life. As a result, he visibly improved and he thoroughly enjoyed his time in such a pleasant, relaxed, and caring environment.
I know we made the right choice for him.

My mother, who has advanced Alzheimers, has been at Brownscombe for more than three years. She has received very good care and I am very grateful to the staff for all the kindness with which my mother is treated. The carers and nursing staff show great respect and affection for her and look after her needs, personal and medical, very well. The management is responsive and helpful and our family are very impressed with all the knowledge and experience that the new clinical lead brings to her role. She has gained a great understanding of our mother's needs which is evident in the care she and her team provides. The wellbeing staff members are also excellent, providing a wide variety of activities for the residents and contributing to the positive vibe. I pay tribute to the kitchen staff for the quality of food that they provide, which my mother enjoys. I would also like to thank the cleaning and laundry staff for all they contribute.

His room is spacious and well appointed with all the facilities to make his stay as enjoyable as his condition will allow. The nursing and caring staff are very attentive and go out of their way to make close bonds with the residents, making them as comfortable as possible. The food is varied and tasty. Having to find a care home for a loved one is never an easy experience, but the moment you walk through the doors at The Brownscombe the staff and surroundings fill you with confidence that it is a very safe environment where the residents are given the very best of care. It is spotlessly clean, the staff, without exception, are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and are always on hand to answer any questions you may have. Brownscombe Lodge is a very attractive building in a superb location. Because of it's location up a hill, the air is always fresh and welcoming. My room was comfortable and well designed with a door opening onto the downstairs entrace so I could open it when weather was hot. We ensure that we meet all the needs and wishes of all our residents, focusing on person-centred care to truly make our residents’ time at Brownscombe a pleasure. The care home lists weekly fees per person from £1,250 for residential care, from £1,500 for residential dementia care, from £1,500 for nursing care and from £1,500 for nursing dementia care (respite from £1,500).
