Each of the bedrooms is fully furnished and features an en-suite toilet, wash basin and complimentary Wi-Fi, with separate shower and bathroom facilities.
However, your room is a place to call your own, so feel free to bring some of your own familiar belongings and furniture with you and make your new home.
Many of the ground floor suites have patio doors that open onto the beautiful gardens, whilst the larger, first-floor bedrooms enjoy far reaching views across the Surrey Hills.
Everything you may need is within easy reach and the friendly staff are on call 24 hours a day to ensure continuity of care, meaning you can relax, safe in the knowledge that you have their personal attention at all times.

I booked in for rehab after a hip operation. (I had had another good week elsewhere)> I booked for 5 days but extended it initially for a week & then 10 days because of the amazing care that I was receiving. The food is top quality restaurant. The chefs are clearly gifted. Every meal a delight. Not only that but special requests were granted with a smile.
The staff are all angels. Nothing was too much troubled & they were by my side at the press of a button. Also the physiotherapy was fantastic.

The beautiful grounds in which The Old Rectory is situated are relaxing from the outset. Friendly, happy staff were always available, and willing, to help as and when required. The meals were absolutely delicious with lots of choice and beautifully served. I only had to ask for anything and it was provided. The whole ambience of the place has contributed massively to my recuperation after surgery.

I am 95 yrs old and I had a bad fall, was hospitalised, developed pneumonia, then severe urine infection and was very poorly. I went into The Old Rectory for recovery plan. Had been into Old Rectory many years ago for a hip replacement and knew this was where I needed to go. After two and a half weeks I developed another serious urine infection, went back to hospital, where it developed into urinary sepsis. When being transferred back to Old Retory and started recovery plan again and now about 3 weeks after my return. I feel very good and am going home on Monday 24th August. They are the best in every way.

Following bilateral knee replacements I checked into The Old Rectory for a week of convalescence and physio. I booked unseen, but on arrival was struck by the beautiful setting and the warmth of the welcome by the manager, Adarsh, who remained very attentive throughout my stay.
A good sized room, smartly furnished with all facilities, such as electrically adjustable bed (height, head and foot), TV, telephone, en suite bathroom and a nice view of the surrounding countryside. The ice machine I had ordered for delivery to The Old Rectory was unpacked and ready for my use.
Six days of good care, with morning tea, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and supper all brought to my bedside and a choice of menu each day. It made the early days of rehab post op an easy experience, an invaluable investment in my rehab.
A good sized room, smartly furnished with all facilities, such as electrically adjustable bed (height, head and foot), TV, telephone, en suite bathroom and a nice view of the surrounding countryside. The ice machine I had ordered for delivery to The Old Rectory was unpacked and ready for my use.
Six days of good care, with morning tea, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and supper all brought to my bedside and a choice of menu each day. It made the early days of rehab post op an easy experience, an invaluable investment in my rehab.
Daily Physios, including on the Sunday of my arrival, were kind, professional and responsive to my needs, especially Arul who was brilliant. All staff were kind and friendly.

Day to day the meals were varied and high quality and the staff were caring, well trained and proactive.
However, it is the peripheral considerations that made my stay so comfortable. For instance, the Christmas lunch was exceptional and made what could have been a difficult time of the year so much easier. Furthermore, having such a good hairdresser on site was also a massive bonus (having been unable to wash my hair for weeks in hospital). Overall, The Old Rectory upheld a high service in all areas that contribute to an individual's stay and I couldn't recommend them more.

My husband came to the Old Rectory for two weeks after a hip replacement operation. He had extra care needs, as he also has Parkinson's disease, and the staff were exemplary in ensuring that he was safe and well cared for at all times. The general manager, the physios, nurses and carers were all as kind, helpful and knowledgable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble and every challenge was met. The home is in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, and the lovingly tended gardens are a delight. The rooms are clean, comfortable and homely, with plenty of light, and windows onto the gardens full of flowers. We had several visitor lunches, and were most impressed with the high quality of the delicious food, and the way the meals were served. Altogether an excellent care home, and highly recommended.

My wife was at The Old Rectory for 20 days for post operative care after a trauma break to her femur. The medical, physio and general sympathetic care were all excellent. We had good communication with the general manager (who was hands on and led from the front). The head physio was extremely helpful; they and all the staff were pleasant, kind, and sympathetic. They all knew and carried out their duties admirably and professionally (relevant to my wife, the night nursing was thoughtful and attentive). The room, although comfortable, the ensuite was a little small, but we were lucky to find a room in a lovely house and surroundings at such short notice, so 'no complaints'.
We did not use the facilities and activities, but did enjoy a 'Songs of Praise' in the garden in conjunction with the local church. As to value for money, it is the market!

Smiling staff always with a warm greeting, so so caring, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is excellent - flavoursome and quite delicious, it has been an aid to my recovery, beautifully presented.
Physio 5 days, again excellent and I am now able to walk for a short distance without crutches. Excellent care throughout.

The home is in a delightful rural setting and the food and service were excellent. The staff worked as a very smoothly running team. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The medical support was extremely good.

This was my second stay at The Old Rectory for post-operative care following surgery. What a lovely group of helpful management and staff, many local, but many from abroad. Always smiling and willing to cope with sometimes unpleasant jobs, very helpful staff. Fascinating to hear about their countries, and I was impressed by their good use of the English language. Nothing was too much trouble - I felt very relaxed during my stay. I recommend this home to others. I had a wonderful stay. Special thanks to the manager for all their efforts.

My week of respite and convalescent care following surgery has been brilliant. Without exception the staff are caring, attentive and always prompt in attending to requests. The nursing care was excellent with prompt attention to an infection which prevented further complications. Staff ratio to residents is very good indeed. Most enjoyable activities took place which provided social time. Food is excellent. The Old Rectory is situated in the idyllic Surrey Hills. This has been a good time of rest and restoration and a necessary transition between hospital and home. Thank you all at the Old Rectory.

I have heard other residents say "it's like a 5 star hotel with excellent nursing care" I couldn't agree more. The social side is a taken care of as well, with an excellent VE Day Party in the grounds.
