Warrengate Nursing Home

Dad entered the care home in March 2020 after a double stroke requiring full nursing care. The care staff provided first-class care and attention to Dad and provided facetime links to the family. Dad has built great relationships with his nurses, trusting them as did we, the family. The pandemic caused issues with visiting but the activities kept Dad amused, including summer BBQ in the lovely garden. The care staff and management worked with the family in what was a time limiting situation to ensure Dad's every comfort was catered for. His end of life palliative care and the dignity afforded him resulted in his death in January 2021. The staff know how much they mean to us and we will be looking to place Mum in the home in due course, with her Altzeimers worsening. If you are looking for a good residential home for your loved one then look no further as Warrengate is a Five Star care home and supports my full recommendation.

The attention given to the residents care is extremely good. Unfortunately, the noise in the lounge is rather too loud for my mother. She prefers quieter areas in the home, but cannot move about on her own to change her location.

The staff at Warrengate Nursing Home are very caring and great at dealing with my father who can at times be very challenging.

Mum's care at Warrengate has been fantastic. The staff are very friendly, professional and welcoming. They keep us fully up to date with how mum is doing and she is very happy and comfortable here. The staff are incredible and there is nothing I can fault them on. They do so much to make sure they are kept occupied and busy.

Staff are amazing. The change in my father in law since he came here is amazing, which is all down to the care he now receives. He is now much more aware of where he is and understands what he can do to help himself, which is down to the encouragement of the staff. Every staff member I have met is kind and caring and its very clear that they love their jobs. Nothing is too much trouble.

When my father came here, he was isolated emotionally and physically. That has all changed due to the intense care he has received by the fantastic staff. He is always very clean in both himself personally and environmentally. The care and attention is first class, delivered with both respect and empathy. The staff have gone to great lengths to get to know who he is, both present version and very importantly who he was before becoming ill.

My mum has been in Warrengate for over a year. Mum can be extremely challenging in her behaviour. All the staff are supportive and do their best to help mum. Our family is very happy with everything here. There was an issue with mum's clothes which was raised with the staff and was dealt with. I would have no hesitation in recommending Warrengate to family and friends.

My husband has lived at Warrengate Nursing Home since November 2016. He has been well looked after. The staff are gentle and caring as my husband has deteriorated. The nurses and carers have been very kind to me as him. I would recommend Warrengate Nursing Home for someone who has Alzheimer's. I looked after my husband for almost 11 years and know how hard it can be so he needed a gentle type of caring and got it.

I recommend Warrengate Nursing Home. All staff are excellent, special kind of people. COmmunication between all, themselves, residents and visitors. Very comforting.

My mother receives extremely good care at Warrengate Nursing Home. Staff are extremely patient and kind. My mother can prove difficult at times but is dealt with in a very caring way distracting her when needed. Every attempt to get her to join in activities but respect her if doesn't want to.

The staff are always smiling and welcoming. Although my dad has advanced dementia he seems content and happy at Warrengate Nursing Home. He is always treated with empathy and respect. The food always looks excellent and dad eats well and enjoys it. His room is always clean and tidy and clothes are clean. The staff and carers are absolute angels, a credit to Warrengate. I am in no doubt that my dad is in the best nursing home there is with the best staff.

I have always experienced a kind, comforting and attentive group of staff, without exception. The level of professionalism, empathy and care can only be described as exceptional.

Entertainment is brilliant Monday to Friday. Nothing at weekends.

Always find this home very friendly, always kept very clean. Staff are always helpful and caring whenever I visit, there are always cleaners cleaning in rooms and corridors.

Plenty of activities going on. Very well organised. Office staff are very efficient.

Cooks in the kitchen - very good food is served up, understanding to each individual's need.

I found all staff on my visits extremely helpful and was impressed with the way residents were treated according to their individual needs and abilities. The end of life care was also excellent and I was kept well informed and treated with sympathy by all members of staff at all times.

When visiting Warrengate Nursing Home always fresh and clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. Mum always clean and cosy. Always thing going on.

Under the present management, the level of care, treatment and friendliness has been excellent at all times. The carers are always cheerful, kind and considerate. The meals are interesting and varied and are enjoyed, as are the puddings. The kitchen staff are always friendly and helpful. The cleaners too are cheerful and friendly. The office secretary is always welcoming, cheerful and very friendly. The overall standard of Warrengate Nursing Home has improved under the excellent management who is always approachable.

An excellent, well-run, specialist dementia care home. The team have worked tirelessly to settle Mum and care for her with dignity. She has late-stage dementia and needs round the clock care for a range of issues. A special mention is The Nursing Home Manager who is an excellent advocate for Mum and her family.
