I cannot put into just a few words just how amazing these special people are.
Everything they did for us was 100%
They never stopped caring, and that was for all of the family and friends, not just the patient.
They became friends, which helped so much.
We will always be eternally grateful and never forget them.
Will always recommend to others.

You are, without doubt, the best xxx

My mum was a resident at Bryher Court for just over 2yrs. She was admitted with a serious bed sore (courtesy of incredibly poor treatment at the hospital) & the nurses at Bryher Court went above & beyond in getting the right treatment for her - they literally worked miracles & made sure she healed! The nursing staff were so incredibly professional in all aspects of her care.
Every time I visited mum, I was welcomed by very friendly management & staff & there was always a cuppa on offer :-)
Thank you Carol, Michelle, Kevin, Christiaan & every member of the care staff for your outstanding care.

Bryher Court really must be commended in every way. I won't hesitate in recommending it!

Although mum was only at Bryher Court a couple of weeks before passing, I could not of asked for a better resting place.

All staff were so nice, compassionate and caring. They made mum as comfortable and pain free as possible. Myself, my son and other family members that visited were greeted and made welcome. Thank you all so much.

A warm homely nursing home with friendly happy staff. My father settled in very quickly and has repeatedly told me how lovely the staff are and how helpful they are. Whenever I visit I am offered a cup of tea and dad seems always to have a cup of tea and a delicious slice of cake in front of him! The food is excellent.....home made, good portions and a fantastic variety. I originally wanted to look after my dad at home but due to his frailty it became untenable. Bryher House is more than I could ever have wished for and I know they have my dads best interest as their priority. TEN STARS.

Our mum was discharged from hospital to Bryher Court under the discharge to assess system. Mum was shown great care and kindness from all the staff and made to feel that 'this is home'. Mum loved the staff and the company of the other residents. Bryher Court also has two fantastic activities coordinators who chat and interact with residents throughout the day and work with them on really creative projects.

The large, bright conservatory-dining room and pretty garden make Bryher Court a lovely place to be.

I can't praise Bryher Court Nursing home enough. The care my sister has received since being a resident in the home from the nursing staff, housekeepers, health care assistants, caterers & admin staff has been great all round. My sister is truly happy, in an amazing room, with round the clock care if needed.
The gardens are lovely to sit out in to enjoy the sun. Afternoon tea & cake & the living room is there to sit & chat with some of the other residents if she so wished. There is a choice of food, to suit all dietary needs.

It's always a worry when looking for nursing homes, as a family we are so very happy, that our sister has settled & is happy too in her new home. Thank you all at Bryher Court.

My Grandfather is well looked after here by the attentive and caring staff who are polite and friendly. Bryher Court is clean and well kept, and the home cooked food is popular.

Our family were concerned about choosing a care home when Grandad needed full time care, however we have no such concerns now that he is settled. Thank you to all staff members for what you do!

Staff from the management to carers are extremely helpful in all aspects of their dedicated work.
We were always greeted by a member of the management team and well informed on the current health of my father.
My father's room is very airy with plenty of natural light, he has at his disposal all his needs.
Recently we requested help for a minor medical need , a nurse came immediately and assisted my father.
My Dad loves the staff and they also are very respectful of him.
Although not seen by my father I have witnessed the activity staff in their roll. The residents all appeared to be enjoying the play roll of the staff who were very cheerful. I did join in one game whilst my father was being attended to by a nurse.Yes we had a laugh.

Food seemed plentiful but not always liked by my Dad.

My Dad has been in this nursing home now for six months and he, my whole family and I, feel so very lucky to have found this home for him. From the moment we first walked in six months ago, we knew that this was the right place for him because we were immediately struck by the wonderful welcome afforded to us by the staff, and the friendly and very warm atmosphere that pervaded the whole place. Dad has felt truly cared for by every member of staff, and he knows the name of each of them! I visit my Dad everyday so I truly know that he is well cared for, and I can't thank the staff, the management, the nursing and indeed the catering staff enough. Knowing that Dad is so well cared for gives me, and my brothers and sisters such comfort and peace of mind. Thank you all at this marvellous nursing home!

Review from N H (Son-in-law of Resident) published on 23 May 2025 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

The local hospital told us that we needed to choose a nursing home for my father-in-law as soon as, and we set off that same day with a list of local ones. Being at the top of the list we went to this one first. Having been to a few over the years, what with my own close relatives, and those of close friends, where, to be honest, I wouldn't have left a pet to be looked after, let alone someone dear to me, I was quite fearful of what I might discover. I needn't have worried because I was absolutely knocked off my feet as soon as I entered Bryher Court. The staff were smiling, the residents I saw looked very happy and content, the hallways and rooms were well decorated and so clean, cheery notices were on the walls, there were flowers in vases, and everywhere smelt so good; it was like everybody's idea of a home! After just a few moments I was whispering into my wife's wear "Say Yes! Take it! This is a great place!" She did and her Dad has been here now for 6 months and he adores it!

We have found all the employees very helpful and knowledgable, and they perform a difficult job with the upmost professionalism and in a happy manner. They are very welcoming to myself and my wife when we visit.
We have seen a marked improvement in both Mums physical and mental health, and for that we thank the home and the staff. The social interaction of the residents is a key part of this, and the two young ladies who create and implement the activities are worth a special mention.

Thankyou all.

Review from Denise C (Stepdaughter of Resident) published on 30 April 2025 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
The standard of care my step father received was of a very high standard. The care, compassion and dignity given was amazing!
Staff were so caring and we were always contacted when we had questions regarding my step father's health & wellbeing. We felt so supported as a family.
Room was always clean and bed linen was always clean & fresh!
The facilities within the nursing home were brilliant but unfortunately we didn't get to use. Special attention was given around birthday & anniversary's, this was so appreciated as we knew as a family they would possibly be the last! Seeing the fireworks from my stepfather's room was very special and won't be forgotten..
Food & drink was very good and there was no problem changing afew things so my stepfather could enjoy the tastes of foods he enjoyed. We felt very safe that we could leave my stepfather in your hands when we couldn't be there.
Just keep doing what you're all doing, would I recommend, YES!

Thankyou .. Thankyou
