It is very good of you to take the trouble to review our Home at this difficult time. It is a nice "thank you" to our staff. We do have very kind and considerate people working at Bryher Court. I will ask our Administrator to ensure that the team all get to see your review.
Our best wishes to you and the family.
We are pleased that this gentleman has enjoyed his time with us as a temporary resident. He came to us from hospital following an accident and had never needed assistance from a care home before. He has been pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the activities, the food, our large lounge, which is all very gratifying for us.
Thank you for taking the time to review our Nursing Home. We greatly appreciate your thoughts - particularly as you have visited other Nursing Homes. I will make sure the Manager and Staff know you find us to be "professional, courteous and friendly". It is a homely, friendly atmosphere at Bryher Court.
Thank you for giving our Care 5 stars and the Staff 5 stars - they deserve the praise - particularly whilst having to wear masks in the hot weather during the crises.
Family and frequent visitors may enter quickly via the security keypad at the front door - no waiting!
The nurse call can ring continuously but it doesn't mean it isn't being answered! As a call is answered there could already be a second person ringing and maybe a third resident presses their buzzer before the second call is answered. We have an above average number of staff on duty which our Manager will happily explain to you.
We have a very good activities coordinator who is a lot of fun and who is a good friend to the residents. I think if you saw her doing her ice cream trolley rounds (complete with ice cream van music) or saw her at the recent teddy bears pick-nick in July, you would give her five stars as well!
