We use the Residential Forum and Care Home Staffing models, as utilised industry wide, to assess our required staffing levels, and are documented as always employing over and above recommended hours for our client group in order to ensure we can deliver the very best of care at all times. We do not employ casual staff at Clifden House. It is not possible to work with us without undergoing a full recruitment and training procedure, including DBS and reference checks and a three month certificated training requirement. If we need to utilise agency staff to cover for sickness and absence, they have also undergone the same recruitment process. We are proud to say that our use of agency staffing accounts for less than 5% of our staffing hours.
Our care team is managed by a team manager and two care seniors on the floor, observing practice and allocating tasks throughout the day and night shifts.
We're glad to hear that issues you have raised have been dealt with and would propose a further meeting at the home to ensure other issues are resolved, as our records show has been achieved in the past.
We were very pleased that your mother moved into a brand new room in our new-build extension following our refurbishment. We are happy to state that our fees range from £750 to £950 per week, dependent upon care needs.
Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us your views. We aim to provide the right care at the right time, all the time, and I hope we can continue to support you in this in the future!
We are very pleased to hear that we have continued to provide personalised care as your mother's condition has developed. It is our goal to continue to meet the needs of our residents and support them throughout the progress of their condition, without having to resort to disorientating nursing or hospital admission. And we're pretty good with the nail varnish!
