My mother was in Elstree Court nursing home from hospital for palliative and end of life care. The care and kindness and compassion she received was wonderful, staff were very helpful and kind to myself, could not fault anything, i am so glad my mother was so well looked after during the end of her life, would recommend Elstree Court to anyone including myself and my husband.

Although I do not visit as much as I should, every time I am here the attention my mother gets is so good. I know mum is as happy and content as she can be.

The staff are very helpful and always smiling. I have been treated with dignity at all times. The room that I am in is very comfortable and nice. The food is not to my liking, having said that I cannot chew very well which limits me in terms of what I can pick from the menu. Overall my experience has been a good one and I would recommend this care provider to friends and family.

My 95 year old mother came into Elstree Court at very short notice after two weeks in hospital, with breathing problems and generally being frail, she needed palliative care end of life care. The priority being is to make her as comfortable and as pain free as possible. The staff at Elstree Court provided this care brilliantly caring, friendly and professional. They enabled my mother to peacefully slide into death.

My father has been in Elstree for 3 months. Consistent and loving personal care has transformed him from a paranoid, confused individual to someone happy and secure. The challenge of double incontinence has been managed with dignity and periods of doziness and difficulty with eating dealt with in a sensitive manner. It is of infinite value to him to be given respect for his language skills. The Christmas party yesterday was a delightful family occasion and he was so glad to be part of it. He was very pleased to be thanked for coming down to join in. Thank you all so much.
