My sister came to Glottenham Manor on 24th May, having been 'fast-tracked from hospital' for palliative care. I visited a couple of days before and knew instantly that this was the place for my sister to be and that they would make her last days, happy ones. The manager was extremely warm and...
I visited my sister on the day that she moved in and she seemed very happy. They even agreed that she could have her beloved canaries with her!!
The love and care that she received was excellent and we could not have asked for anything more.
Unfortunately, my sister died only 8 days later but she was comfortable and surrounded by her family (there are no restrictions on visiting and we indeed spent the last few days with her), the staff showed love and compassion and we are extremely grateful to them all.
I would not hesitate to recommend this nursing home to anyone, whatever their age or illness.

Carers are excellent, have so much patience, especially in the dining room and it is reassuring that there is always a nurse on hand.
The manager is always available to talk to. This is a very happy, relaxed atmosphere here and everyone is treated with utmost respect.
Ten out of ten on all counts.
