Westerleigh is a family owned Nursing Home, registered with the Care Quality Commission. At Westerleigh, the registered manager and the team are delighted to welcome residents to live in homely and caring surroundings with experienced nursing and care staff on duty twenty-four hours a day.

Westerleigh offers home cooked meals and snacks, prepared in the home's kitchens, and the home is pleased to welcome visitors. Also visiting pets are welcomed, all that is asked is that they are kept under close control whilst at the home.

Westerleigh maintains strong community links, including with related health and social care professionals, and there is a comprehensive range of activities offered by the dedicated social activities team.

This is an exceptional nursing home with a wonderful dedicated team of staff under the Matron.
The devoted, caring and professional care that my Mum received in her last eighteen months of her life was wonderful, together with the care and support the family also had.
Thank you again Matron and
all the lovely Westerleigh staff, you made a very difficult time so much easier.

The staff are always attentive and kind towards my mother. She is treated with dignity and affection. The activities team are always thinking of new and stimulating things for residents to take part in and always help those who are not so capable. The food is always varied and generous with tea, coffee
and biscuits served regularly. Over I am happy with my mother's care at Westerleigh and she is happy to live there because she is treated as a very special person, (which she is).

David Briant

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2017

Registered Manager David Briant joined Westerleigh Nursing Home in 2017 after managing a number of care homes throughout East Sussex. David is a mental health nurse and has also worked with people who are blind or visually impaired and have additional disabilities. David says of Westerleigh Nursing Home. ‘The secret of Westerleigh Nursing Home’s success is quite simply the outstanding and dedicated staff team, many of whom have worked here for in excess of twenty years.


Westerleigh Nursing Home is part of the Seaford community but also a community in its own right consisting of dedicated people who are proud and vocal as to the care and support they provide to those living with us.
