I'm so very delighted by the standard of care received by my mother at Ashdown. The staff really care and have a nice relationship with her. They are kind, patient and highly attentive to all of her needs. They treat her with a great deal of respect and compassion. She is very fond of them. It is such a relief to know she is so well taken care of. She is very happy living at Ashdown.

My father is extremely well cared for by all the staff, he's treated like a family member, Ashdown is very homely and we have no concerns or worries. My sister and I can relax in this knowledge, seeing a video of him playing football in the garden with another resident and carer was so heartwarming.

The food is excellent and we're looking forward to the summer barbeque.

Ashdown Nursing Home staff are wonderful, extremely caring and professional. My mother was in another care home previously and I can see that she is much better cared for here at Ashdown - cleaner, sleeping better, clean clothes etc. Rooms are bright and cheery and kept spotlessly clean.

After my sister was refused by one of the nursing homes it was so nice to meet a very pleasant owner/manager and staff willing to cope with my sister. The rooms are very homely and clean, entertainment in the main dining area plus TV. Altogether a very caring place to be with caring staff.

My aunty has joined Ashdown Nursing Home a few months ago and I could not be happier. Before she had very frequent falls and lost a lot of weight, she now walks better and looks healthier, and is happy to see me visit once a week.

I came without an appointment, the manager was friendly and so kind to accommodate me. The home is clean and staff friendly, and well run. I am so pleased my friend is here. The staff know her and look after her so well. All the residents I saw looked lovely and well-looked after. A busy and friendly atmosphere. Pleased with the restrictions to keep residents safe. 100%, 10/10. Well done Ashdown. As the former senior advisor for a County Council, an excellent home.
