Overall I think Ashdown is a very well run establishment. The staff are attentive and caring and very pleasant & helpful whenever I visit allowing me flexibility in visiting times. I've been kept informed of my mothers health issues with phone calls whenever necessary. Most importantly my mother is
generally very happy. Obviously the most important factor.

I have noticed that all the staff here have been very helpful and professional. Everyone here has a lot to do everyday, but still staff here look happy as well. My mum has been well taken care of and looks to be fairly content, on each occasion I have been able to visit.

Dad is so well cared for at Ashdown. He is always nicely dressed and personal care is fantastic. We have visited larger homes but prefer Ashdown as it's like one big family and a special shout out to the activity dog who really makes the resident's day. The new activity person is doing a brilliant job.
The summer BBQ and Christmas party are amazing. The chef is wonderful all year round.

Mum has been very well cared for since being in Ashdown.
Her needs are catered for. The staff are brilliant, and as a family, we are kept informed of any problems that arise with Mum. It helps to have peace of mind in very difficult circumstances.

Dad has been in the home just over 2 years and we couldn't wish for better care and attention they do regular events for residents and also parties and events that include family members and friends, which they always make fun with incredible food and entertainment we are truly grateful.

My father is extremely well cared for by all the staff, he's treated like a family member, Ashdown is very homely and we have no concerns or worries. My sister and I can relax in this knowledge, seeing a video of him playing football in the garden with another resident and carer was so heartwarming.
The
food is excellent and we're looking forward to the summer barbeque.

Ashdown Nursing Home staff are wonderful, extremely caring and professional. My mother was in another care home previously and I can see that she is much better cared for here at Ashdown - cleaner, sleeping better, clean clothes etc. Rooms are bright and cheery and kept spotlessly clean.

Absolutely brilliant time had at the Halloween tea party - so much love and care shown in the organisation, provision of food, decorations and attending singer in entertainment. The residents and guests were smiling in delight and singing along also! Wonderful fun in a wonderful, compassionate and caring

After my sister was refused by one of the nursing homes it was so nice to meet a very pleasant owner/manager and staff willing to cope with my sister. The rooms are very homely and clean, entertainment in the main dining area plus TV. Altogether a very caring place to be with caring staff.
