The staff are very caring with residents and know them well. Visitors often offered tea and biscuits and made welcome. The home is keen to involve family and hold regular family events with generous catering. Residents cared for well.

The experience of my husband moving into a residential home was a difficult experience. The staff showed so much kindness and care to both me and more importantly, him, gave me no doubt he was in the right place. All of the staff are professional, kind and caring and treat all of the residents with respect.

The staff are always welcoming and friendly. It feels more like a home than a care environment.

My granddad always looks clean and freshly shaven and is always smiling, even on his bad days with his dementia. The family days are lovely and the staff always make an extra effort. A lovely home.

I have found Ashdown to be a very friendly nursing home. When my wife could say a few words, she said,"I am happy here".
I visit most days at 10:10am. My wife is washed and sitting up in a very clean bed.

All the staff could not be better, with a very tiring job.

Putting mum in a nursing home was a very difficult family decision.

The staff at Ashdown made us all very welcome and did everything possible to reassure us and settle mum. All staff are friendly caring and most importantly patient with mum who can be challenging and difficult at times. As a family we are so happy we chose Ashdown to care for mum x

My husband has only been here a few weeks so far he has settled and improved, his dementia is handled well as he is still getting angry if there are things he does not like. Overall a very good team of carers.
