My wife has been a resident for 18 months and I am extremely grateful and pleased that she was been treated with wonderful care from the amazing, dedicated and energetic staff. Home is very clean warm and comfy with excellent food, she has been in two homes before but didn't compare to Camelot. The dream team work here, nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

Camelot Nursing Home is excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive but most importantly they are kind and caring. They seem to have a good understanding of the needs of people with complex dementia. The facilities are excellent including the food and varied activities.

The care my father in law has come to Camelot Nursing & Residential Care Home for, has improved greatly. Everyone is so caring and friendly. The food is excellent and they maintain his hydration well. It feels like a real home. There is lots of stimulation, which is essential for someone with dementia. He is happy and content and that is all down to the staff. They are reactive to any changes in his condition and couldn't look after him better. The home is always clean and appears extremely well run.

December is a very busy month. Even so, the staff still gave the residents and visiting families every care and attention, seeing to their needs, making sure there was plenty of activities and social interaction. Christmas Day was like one big happy family with a first class meal full of fun and laughter.

I'm not able to visit that often, but each time I have been here for a few days. I have been so happy with the care my mum is receiving, all of the staff and management are so kind, helpful and always smiling, my dad is very happy she's here. She has been in 2 homes previously and they cannot compare, 5 stars to all the staff.

Unfortunately at the young age of 62 years, Dad required nursing care due to his Diabetes and other related health conditions. From the moment we entered the building, it felt like home! Dad undoubtedly found it hard to accept how his life had changed so dramatically but with the friendliness and patience of the staff he settled. Dad had chosen not to receive any further medical treatment which was respected by the staff until the very end. I and the family can't thank the staff enough for the outstanding care and support they gave to all of us especially Dad through a very difficult time. I would not have wanted him to have been anywhere else!

Overall Experience
From the start of my step-father's respite stay at Camelot, the staff were caring, attentive and professional. The home was well-managed. They were very reassuring towards my stepfather, who really was not happy about going into respite, but my mother, aged 92 really needed a rest after caring for many years. But he was very well looked after and the staff dealt with all his care and health issues very well. They kept us informed about his wellbeing and we felt confident that he was in a good place and his care needs were well looked after. They were welcoming towards us every time we visited and would pop in to have a chat with my stepfather even though they were busy. The home had a warm, family-like atmosphere.

Overall, the staff were loving towards him and treated him with dignity and kindness. We would highly recommend this care home, which is well-run by warm and professional team, and we so grateful for all they have done for us.

Mr father was resident since 31/07/23 until he recently passed away. The care he received during his stay was exemplary, I could not speak more highly of all the staff that looked after him and cared for him during his stay and I know he thoroughly enjoyed living there, from the meals he had, to the quizzes or singers that came in, he always had a smile on his face when we saw him. He was always treated with dignity up to the last. It felt like he was just part of their family and he was treated as such.

Thank you to all the Camelot staff.

My sister had been a service user of the Camelot Nursing Home for 5 years. I found the staff to be kind, caring and approachable. My sister passed away recently, having endured a long illness. The care she received during the last few days of her life was delivered with dignity and kindness. The staff kept me fully informed of my sister's health at all times.
