Sadly, my mother has now passed away, but the care given to her by the staff of Camelot has been excellent over the past two years that she lived there. She was treated with nothing but kindness and that's all we wished for in the later years of her life.

A big thank you to all the staff and management from our family.

I have only praise for the excellent care Dad received at Camelot. The staff were kind, cheerful, positive and thoughtful. They always treated him as an individual and understood his needs. His physical care was of the highest standard and my family and I always felt welcome. Thank you to everyone.

My mother-in-law has been in the home for respite care with a view to permanent care. She has settled so well, which I am sure is due to the care and diligence of all the staff at the home. No matter the facilities at a home, the value lies in the quality of the staff. Everyone is helpful, friendly and caring. My mother-in-law has the highest praise for them and the care she has received to date. This is such a comfort to her family that she is so settled.

The staff have made my mother, who is disabled, very welcome and she has experienced very good care from the start. She is newly registered with a local GP and there is good cooperation with the home and local surgery. The staff actually monitor all her needs and review her weight and this has reduced the family's concerns about her health and well-being. This has meant that my mother has adapted well to the change brought about by having to live in a nursing home and she is happily settled in her new home.

My good friend was placed here after a very awkward situation. She has now been here for around eight/nine months. She is very happy, clean and very healthy. As a registered nurse, this nursing/rest home is very, very good, the staff are amazing, kind caring and very helpful indeed. My star rating is four and a half stars.

Dad came to Camelot Nursing & Residential Care Home from a rehabilitation ward following a stroke. We were advised that Dad was unable to walk. He was very weak and confused. After just a few weeks at Camelot, Dad is eating well (he says the food is delicious) and is much stronger. He is now able to walk using a simmer after receiving a lot of encouragement. He says the staff are lovely and he enjoys chatting with them. Dad has settled in well and is much less confused. I'm always made to feel very welcome when visiting. Staff are on hand at all times if you have any questions. Dad's room is airy, clean and spacious.

A sad moment in my life when my mum had to spend her final years in a nursing home. Management put my mind at rest that Mum would be cared and nursed for with affection. My mum now seems happy, some days better than others.

I have always received a warm welcome when I come to visit my mother. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My mother is always complimentary about her care and the warmth she experiences from the helpers as well as the medical staff. It is very reassuring for us, the family, to know that my mother receives a high standard of attention and support and provides welcome peace of mind. Keep up the good work! Thank you very much.

I find the staff all very caring and attentive and listen to what my relative's needs are. The home provides entertainment and my relative was also included in this when she was in her room for a period of time. The home is very clean, the food is excellent and a varied choice is offered.

I did not know what to expect before visiting my mother at Camelot Nursing & Residential Care Home for the first time. In fact, I was dreading it. But I needn't have worried. The staff, every single one of them, was wonderful, the facility is very clean, the tea and cake are super delicious and so, as I go back home to America, I can be happy and confident that my mum is being very well cared for and is in the best place she could possibly be for the very last leg of her journey this time around. Thank you everyone for your love, care and compassion.

Our mum has been a resident at Camelot Nursing & Residential Care Home for some time and has always been cared for and treated with respect.
The staff have an excellent attitude and approach to their work. It is clear to see that they are considerably happier working with the current management than they were with their predecessors. They are always friendly and attentive to residents as well as welcoming to visitors.
There are activities for the residents every weekday, ranging from quizzes to live entertainers which is very nice to see and gives a good deal of stimulation and enjoyment to them.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Camelot for caring for loved ones when the need arises.

My friend is very happy at Camelot Nursing & Residential Care Home and it's good to see her relaxed and well cared for.
My biggest impression is of the friendliness and general happiness of the staff any time I visit which I think speaks volumes. They obviously love their job and the people they care for.

Note - the care/support is "satisfactory" rather than excellent because my friend finds it annoying/difficult to have to ask for her medication having been so independent and still mentally capable.
