Country Lodge Nursing Home is a privately run care home on the edge of Worthing, West Sussex. They offer care to older residents whose needs include medical, physical, terminal illness, respite and convalescence care.
They have a team of highly qualified, experienced nursing and care staff who, together with the auxiliary staff, are committed to providing the best possible care for their residents.
Their small size means that staff and residents really get to know one another and create a homely, community feel. With a delightful garden and stunning views over the South Downs and Sussex countryside, their philosophy is to give residents the best possible quality of life while promoting their independence, privacy and dignity.
All bedrooms are charmingly decorated to a high standard and have electric profiling beds, a nurse call system, a flat screen television and telephone. Residents are encouraged to bring in their own furniture if they wish as well as personal effects to truly make their room a home from home.
Country Lodge pride themselves on their delicious home cooked meals. They often use home grown food, and if it not home grown, it is locally sourced and produced. Because of this, they cook seasonal meals that are chosen by the residents.
Country Lodge is also accredited with the Investor in People Award representing excellent and regular training. In March 2022 they were proud to receive a rating of "Good" by the CQC.
