My mum was very well looked after when she was a resident. Everyone was very caring and she was very pleased with the service she received.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they did their best to accommodate Mum's wishes.
Everyone I encountered was kind and courteous and I felt very
comfortable leaving my mum in their care.

The atmosphere is caring and loving. Staff go out of their way to be kind and attentive to the residents. It really is like a home, not an institution. My very elderly mother is happy and well looked after. The delightful sitting/dining room looks out at the sunny terrace and gardens.

My brother has been in this home for about 18 months. He is well looked after. Staff are for the most part exceptional, very caring and very aware of his medical needs.


I am contacted immediately there is a concern about his health. All the staff are very welcoming to visitors and encourage social

Really caring people (management and staff) run this place. Some rooms are basic, some better with attractive views. My wife did not want to go into a care home when her illness became terminal but she settled in and developed a good rapport with the staff during the three months she was there.

My partner was required to move out of her nursing home as the home could not afford to fund nursing care. She had to move in 10 days. I visited the new home midday Saturday and met the manager, who was so efficient with a direct line to the finance director. The manager gave me a tour of the room,
home, gardens and staff. Sunday, I again visited the home and agreed for my partner to be admitted. She was moved in by Thursday. Without the efficiency of the staff, the move into the home was very comfortable. Any equipment was immediately supplied and the doctor was called in straight away.

Good general care, adequate numbers of staff. Bed comfortable, family visitors welcomed and general heating warm in winter. Activities fortnightly. Art of Friday, discussion and talk on current affairs Tuesday mornings. Food moderate cooked breakfast available, staff on the whole extremely good and
tolerant when dealing with difficult residents.

My partner was now needing palliative care. It was an urgent need. Dealing with the situation alone I was anxious and concerned about the whereabouts and the care that he would receive in a Nursing home requiring very particular attention to a medical condition needing very careful monitoring and recording.
All of this, my partner is receiving.


I visited several homes and guided by instinct I knew immediately it was the right place for my partner. Apart from the beautiful gardens on entering the home for the first time I found it to be a very harmonious, homely atmosphere. There is also a real sense of friendly teamwork among all the staff which filtrates through to the patient, love and care they give to those they look after and a welcome too for the person visiting (me).


All this I believe the manager has helped to create, who has a very balanced, approachable, aloof of role, hands on style of management who personally cares about those he has in his care and gets things done. I like this. My partner and myself too have benefited from this.


I have only been able to commend on the short time that my partner has been at Westhampnett House but I have been visiting every day and each day has been the same. It is really care requiring a lot of thanks.

This place has a very good atmosphere. The home is situated in a beautiful part of Sussex. The house is very attractive from the outside, and occupies a lovely position in a beautiful garden where residents can walk, or sit outside. Inside, this grand house has been adapted to provide for some 30
residents, in rooms of varying sizes with different facilities. The manager does an excellent job; the nurses are well-qualified, helpful, and kind; the carers also. It is obvious, from the way the staff treat each other, that the team is well bonded and there is genuine friendship between its members. The food is good (cooked on site) - there are a few choices for each meal. Activities and entertainments are arranged. Residents are treated as individuals, well looked after, clean, and respected. Visiting arrangements are good, in that we are welcome all the time.

Ginu was promoted to Registered Manager in 2018 and really enjoys what working at Westhampnett House and says that her role is more than just a job.
Ginu is passionate about individualized care and service delivery and often spends her time supporting residents to ensure that they receive the best possible outcomes.
Ginu leads her team from the front and is very supportive and committed to teaching and coaching her team to perform to the best of their ability.
Ginu creates a homely atmosphere by ensuring she know each resident and team member personally.
