My friend is well looked after & he is very happy there. The staff are lovely & really care for the residents. They have regular events there & nice days out. It is always good to get regular updates & hear what my friend has been doing.

The care that both my parents received was excellent. Always treated with kindness & dignity. The staff were so helpful & really care about the residents. The management are lovely & helpful, nothing is to much trouble & explained things well. The carers really do an excellent job with their residents.

My mother-in-law was a resident at Westhampnett for approximately two years, following a prolonged stay in hospital. Her mental capacity diminished quite considerably while in hospital, so we didn't know what to expect when she was moved to Westhampnett House Nursing Home. The team settled her in quickly and always made sure that she was clean, well groomed and comfortable. Having dementia she wasn't always easy (each day was different in her moods) but she was always treated with care, dignity and patience - and with much humour! She also had no mobility and towards the end of her life (almost 101 years old) she needed a great deal of care with everything, including eating. We can't thank all the staff involved in her care enough and especially the management team who were constantly reassuring. They gave her a wonderful party for her 100th birthday, which she probably wasn't aware of but seemed to enjoy the fuss!

We found the residential home to be beautifully situated in a secluded area, the facilities are great for the needs of the residents and the staff were more than accomodating. What is obvious from the moment you walk in is the care and passion they show to the residents, we are more than happy with the support we are shown as well as our father. Above all, the communication is outstanding, we are informed about all things concerning our father. Thankyou.

My mum moved to Otterbourne about 9 months ago. The care and help she receives is second to none. Although it's an older care home it is always welcoming and friendly. When I visit the staff always welcome you with a smile. I feel it has definitely been a positive experience for my mum.

The Grange might not be as modern as some nursing homes but the homely atmosphere, care, respect, kindness is the number one priority. I would highly recommend The Grange when my Mother needs respite or a permanent home. Thank you Zoe and the team

Mum was only here for a week. But was looked after with passion, kindness, respect, patience, by everyone, management, nursing staff, kitchen staff, cleaners and maintenance, as was I on every visit.

My family & myself are completely satisfied that both my sisters Eve & Joan are given the very best of 24-7 care, in every way, food is excellent & especially their personal care. I couldn't wish for better. I have always found the staff friendly with a smile on their faces.

I highly recommend the nursing home to future residents and their families

Very helpful staff. Home is a bit dated needed new carpets as some are worn and could be trip hazard. Kitchen staff are excellent, and if there is nothing on the menu they are happy to give an alternative. Some patients need a lot of care and staff cope with it very well. Forgive me as I may have got this wrong but I don't like to be in nightwear at 7pm and they like TV off at 10pm. At first I had a man wash and dress me and I wanted a woman do it so now it is done by a woman. Also it could do with another socket in the room.

On all accounts visits so far my wife and I have been treated (without exception) by all the members of staff with a smile and offers of help (as my wife is disabled) and also offered refreshments. We are also impressed with the care and consideration that the staff are giving to our son. In the short time he has been in the home they have got to know him very well and have been encouraging him to improve his health and wellbeing.

Lovely. They still Continue to give the upmost care and attention to my father.

Westhampnett House is old but very good and I would recommend it as a great nursing home

Otterbourne Grange provided not just care, but kindness - that's something you can't measure. I will always appreciate the way they looked after my mother and supported our family.

Every time I visit my partner who is resident at Otterbourne Grange I always receive a warm welcome from the staff and they are always ready to update me on his current status. He always appears calm and settled and always gives the staff a big smile and in some cases a cuddle which is so lovely to see. He eats really well there and is always presented well. I am so very grateful for the care that he receives from all the staff at Otterbourne Grange .

My Great Aunt has been at the Otterbourne Grange nursing home since late February this year. She has recently been moved to the ground floor as she had mobility issues . Since then she has been able to join into so much more activities with the other residents . All the carers at the home are always very welcoming and very helpful and supportive to all the residents . As well as great interaction with the residents relatives .

Nothing is too much trouble all staff go beyond their normal duties. There is a garden all residence can enjoy. The atmosphere on entering The Grange is always welcoming and friendly.

Mum had been a resident for only 1 year before she sadly passed away in October. During her time at Westhampnett House, all the staff treated her with dignity and respect, and catered for her every demanding needs. The staff, from the manager to the cleaners, were always courteous, thoughtful and kind to mum. I was always informed of any change in my mother's health, and made very welcome when I visited her. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them and I would wholeheartedly recommend this Nursing Home.

My Mother has been a resident for nearly eight years. She sadly passed away in May in her room at the home with her own pictures and belongings around her. Mum suffered from dementia and also needed nursing care. Mum has been treated as a part of the Westhampnett family by the whole team from the Manager (who Mum adored) and the senior nursing staff, to the cleaners, caterers and helpers, without exception. It takes a certain type of person to do this job and the Westhampnett team are the right people. Their kindness to Mum and to the family has been unfailing, we have been informed whenever her health changed and we have had total confidence in their professionalism to deal with whatever situation should arise. I highly recommend Westhampnett House Nursing Home.

An amazing nursing home. Very friendly staff. Excellent and respectful care. Lovely food. Our dad was only there for 4 weeks before passing away. Outstanding end of care life for both our dad and also to the family and friends. Would recommend 100%.
