Current manager, Kathryn McGuirk, has more than a decade of experience in care home management and understands the benefits of a smooth transition into the care environment. My Dad's been living at the Grange for over 2 years now. He has mild dementia, and I'm sure if I were to tell him how long he's been a resident he'd struggle to believe me. That's partly because after an initial settling in period, he's been completely contented there. He likes the staff, and they
seem to like him too - they certainly always treat him with respect and kindness. We visit often, and that helps to maintain a good rapport with the team and keeps us up to date with how he's doing. We're always welcome, and invariably impressed by the standard of care and the variety of activities provided to engage residents and keep them as active as possible. I really hope Dad will be able to see his days out in the comfort and security of this well-managed home.

My mum is only just settling in from living at home on her own. She is still adjusting but the staff do their upmost to include her, where appropriate. Also they have been really helpful with admin queries from myself. Mum is getting used to the different carers that she meets each day and has already
got a few favourites. I know mum is safe and well cared for and that is the most important thing for me.

My mother has been a resident at the home for a couple of years. When she first settled in she was able bodied and we felt she was living her best life, joining in with all the activities and outings. As her health has declined so as her interest and her ability to participate. However, the staff continue
to encourage and support her to engage whenever possible, to provide her with varied experiences.
I have always been able to come and go as I please which gives me great confidence in the care she receives. Communication is great and many times I have dropped in and had chats with (and tissues from) the manager. I feel the whole team have not only been looking after my mother, but have held my hand through every stage of the dementia she suffers from. I cannot thank them enough.

Set in lovely grounds with a wheelchair-accessible path around the large lawn. The Grange has a friendly homely atmosphere for both residents and visitors. All staff readily engage with visitors and make them feel welcome. The care team are patient and compassionate to the residents and provides a stimulating
programme of activities published each month with information sent to relatives. The social media page is regularly updated with photos of activities and it is nice to see so many people enjoying themselves.
The facilities are clean tidy and well maintained, every day they get a menu and options of what food they would like for all meals.
Thank you to all the staff for the care they give to my mother-in-law. Our family have no hesitation in recommending The Grange Care Home facility.

Care review for my father who has been a resident since September 2021. Went through the care plan with the manager and everything was explained to me very clearly and didn't need to ask any questions. Dad has recently moved rooms and has settled into it very quickly and is definitely a better choice
for him as he can move around downstairs more independently. His room upstairs was also amazing but as he is stubborn and not happy about asking for help to go downstairs he tended to isolate himself.
On a personal note as a visitor to the Grange, I am always made to feel welcome like it's my home too. Staff are always happy and the very best I could ask for and a lot better at caring for my Dad than I could ever be. I would recommend this residential home to anyone who is looking for a home for their loved one.

A caring facility with a real family feel. Staff are always professional and treat each resident with patience, kindness and dignity. They look happy and always have time to chat with each resident. Each key person has developed a warm, friendly relationship with their residents.
My mother enjoys all
the activities on offer, especially the singalongs, flower arranging and pottery. She always looks very presentable and well cared for, and importantly, says she's happy there.
My only quibble is that sometimes visitors have to wait quite a while for the door to be opened and it would be really nice if there were tea/coffee making facilities for visitors.

The Grange is absolutely fantastic.
My father was moved here 2 years ago from another nursing home in the area and all I will say is, I can't believe I let my father stay in the other home for 14 years. The difference is another level.
The staff are fantastic! They are all so friendly and loving,
not just towards the residents, but family members too.
They do so much for the residents. Every month we get sent a 'what's on' where nearly every day there is an activity for residents to take part in. They also have key workers assigned to each resident so they can take them out 1-1 and do things they like doing as well.
The food is amazing and every day they get a menu and options of what food they would like. For breakfast, they can have three courses! Honestly, it's absolutely brilliant.
Would recommend The Grange to anyone. My dad describes it as a hotel and we can see what he means.

Littleport Grange is an excellent care provider with lovely approachable, happy and caring staff. Senior staff and managers are contactable and quickly implement any changes needed in Dad's care. We were really anxious about Dad going into a care home, you always think no one will ever care for someone
so precious in your life, as well as their family, do. Littleport Grange has definitely proved us wrong. A big thank you to everyone.

Since dealing with Littleport Grange from September 2023, we have found from stepping through their doors everyone went the extra mile to help us. The building is older than some in the area but very well maintained, the gardens are beautiful but it's the care received by our uncle that we have always
found to be outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble, any questions we have are answered immediately with the greatest respect to all concerned. The activities they all provide to residents are targeted to residents' interests. Moving anyone into this kind is situation is never easy but all management and staff made this so much easier than we could have ever hoped for.

We are delighted with the care my husband's aunt receives. The reasons for moving came to a head very quickly. She was very anxious and missed her home. Littleport Grange was excellent at supporting her and reducing her anxiety. It is obvious that they have her best interests at heart. She has been

We would like to say that even though our mother (89) had a very short stay (seven weeks) at the home, the service, activities, food quality and attention of all staff was excellent. Ten out of ten, we would recommend the home to anyone!

From Mum's first day (now over a year) the level of care has been beyond our expectations. The staff are all kind, caring and are led by a management team that is honest and sets the ethos that is felt throughout the home. Although Mum is a private person, she has been included in many of the weekly
events that take place. Choosing a care home was never on the family's radar but I can honestly say all our concerns or preconceived views have been put to rest as Littleport Grange Residential Home has been so good in every area of care for Mum and other residents. The Grange is looking after my mum who has dementia. It is a beautiful home with wonderful gardens. The staff are always happy and helpful.
There are many activities for the residents to get involved in including, arts and crafts, musicians and day trips. All the residents seem happy there.
I feel
reassured that mum is in safe hands. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this home to others.
